No Pony Left Behind!

I am curious how many of you follow the "No Pony Left Behind!" credo.

I'm normally very particular of what I pick up, but recently I passed on a G3 Blossomforth & Spring Breeze at a thrift store.  I really wanted to get them, but I don't collect G3's and paying the $4.35 for both of them just seemed too much.

I choose which ones I take home. I don't collect G3's or G3.5's so I never pick those up even if I see hundreds of them. I only collect G1's, G2's and Rarity/Cadance/Varaint Ponies for G4. If any of the ponies I find fit that criteria, I will buy them. Now sometimes, if I'm at a place like Savers where they bag stuff together, I'll just buy the whole thing even if there is a pony or two I don't want. I went to a Savers on Sunday and found a bag with almost one pony from each gen. I found a G1, G2, G3 and G3.5 in one bag. I bought it because it had a G1 and G2 in it. I'll probably donate the G3 and G3.5.

I only pick up one that I collect and pass on the ones that I do not collect.

I very rarely leave a G1 behind, though I have on a couple occasions. If the condition is too poor and the price is too high, just cannot always do it. I very often leave G3 behind, nearly every time I go somewhere.

I only collect G1. I want to get a set of the 6 core G4 brushables sometime but that's about it. I haven't come across a G1 anywhere except ebay for a very loooong time.

I leave no G1 behind.  I will, however, pass on McD's ponies, G3 plush and animatronics almost all the time.  Playsets, if they're G3, I frequently leave behind.  I pick up most G3s I see.

I have learned my lesson about bringing anything and everything home with me. 

So now it has to be the right price and or the right condition. No feeling sorry for manky toys anymore.

No G1s left behind, unless they are ridiculously overpriced. I don't pick up other generations.

They're so rare around here to find ANY pony that yes, I snatch them up as soon as I find them. So does my family cause they know I want em. My brother found a G1 on an old dirt trail once. Cleaned her up and she's really cute!

Oh my goodness no! I will pick up any pony that is less than £1 but why would anyone pay over the odds for a pony, regardless of its generation (especially if they did not really want it?). For example, I passed by a stall with some common G1s on it for £4 each last week. I would have taken them home to clean up and rehome if they were cheap, but not at £4!!

I passed over a bunch of G2s that were £2 each yesterday... like Sky Skimmer and Ivy... the ones that you see all the time.

I have never left a G1 behind, although I only found them once.  I have left a few G3's behind that were in a bag with a bunch of junky toys.

i used to snathc up all ponys i saw! but now its gotten to the point.. i  only take  what   i can afford   and what i dont alray have. unless i know somebody who wants it!

I don't frequently find anything at thrift anymore... more fakies than anything else.

But all gens come home with me when I see them  It's so rare that it barely makes a dent in my budget.   I make the exception for McPonies (unless I need 'em) and those soft-bodied G3s and G4s.  Too big and not my cup of tea. visitors can't see pics , please register or login

I get most any pony.  Even fakies.  I don't find them often enough for it to be a problem though.

I wouldn't leave G1s behind. I collect doubles  But I usually do leave any other generations.
