No Pony Left Behind!

It depends really, G1 and G2 usealy get scooped up by me with little hesitation. Even if they aren't for my collection I make sure they get to other collectors.

G3 and G4 ponies I only take what I need and what's reasonably priced anything that's around $2 comes home mostly because I can't sell G3 for anything more then $3. And at a few dollars each they make cheap baits.

I'm super picky, so I'd never have a problem leaving a pony behind. I'd rather have nothing than something junky. Besides, money is an issue at the moment.

Any and all g1s and g2s will come home, regardless of condition if it's a decent price.  If I don't need it, someone else is bound to. 

G3s are a different story.  If they're rare (birth flowers,) they're coming home.  If they're uncommon ones, like the unicorns and Pegasus ponies, I'll probably still take them home - especially if there's 3 or 4 in the bag.  If it's yet another Pinkie or Starsong, she's staying put.

I don't usually find g4s.  If I do, non Mane 7 usually come home with me.

I don't leave anything behind that I need. Of course at Value Village you never know what else is in the bags, so sometimes there are duplicates, but those few will go up for sale. I see lots of G3s, McDs, etc - but those stay behind as there are very few I need and not ones I'll find at a thrift store.

I left some 3.5s and McDonald's ponies behind at Goodwill the other day...I am not losing sleep over it, that's for sure!

I chose "only if the price is right". In general, I do buy any G1 I find (which are few & far between), but occasionally I will pass them up if the price is too high for the condition. Sorry, you can keep your $8 tailless, lipstick wearin' Peachy, lol!!

G3's... I usually leave them behind unless I know they're desirable, same with play sets.

I don't leave any G1's behind. But I will leave G3's if I already have them. I'll buy any G4's because I can use them for customs. With that said, that is the thrift store where things are reasonably priced. The flea market has bait condition ponies for expensive prices and I let those behind.

I only pick up ponies and other vintage toys I collect. I don't have enough space or money to do otherwise. Unless of course its an amazing deal. Like the time I found SS Twilight for under $20.

I wouldn't leave a G1 or G2 behind. I bring home most G3 stuff, but sometimes I don't bother with McPonies. I've left behind a couple of styling sized G3.5s before; I left a Fashion Style Fluttershy behind on the same day, but generally would pick up G4s as well.

If I shopped anywhere where vintage toys were really expensive, I might end up having to leave some ponies at the store.

I pick up every pony I see! Which, so far, hasn't been too many. Then again, I am a customizer, so even if they're dirty or have haircuts, or I otherwise wouldn't want them, I can just make a custom from them.

Honestly, the only reason my collection is semi -small is because I don't just buy random ponies. I have to love that pony!! Or at least kinda like it.....

It just depends on the pony/generation for me
G1 gotta make an exception, they're quite expensive anyways
G2... eh, never have encountered them in stores but I would buy one
G3 , doesn't matter the price MUST HAVE!!!! (unless its one I already got, don't care for variations)
G3.5... moving along 
G4, unless its FS Applejack, FS Fluttershy or Starbeam Twinkle then I'll buy it

But I also gotta keep my mom's wallet in mind. She buys most of the ponies (for now), so its gotta be a pony at a decent, acceptable price unless its for a special occasion

I usually pick up any pony unless they are way too overpriced for bait condition or I've run out of money if it's a big event I'm at.

I've never run across a g1, but if I did, I'd buy it.  But I do frequently leave G3s behind unless it's one I really want. 

I live in a city where there are sure to be other collectors.  So if I'm at a thrift store, I don't feel too bad about leaving a pony.
