Here are few of mine. I don't see these types very often (and if you have one in different colors I'm interested in buying/trading)

the purple one I got to customize, but after I cut her manky hair off I couldn't bring myself to do anything to her. The haircut helped that much!

Ah yes, fakie thread!!!

So here's the deal.  When I was a child, I had an army of random unicorn/pegasus/magic horse toys, and another army of dragons/monsters.  The Unicorn Kingdom and Dragon Kingdom were locked in a constant, vicious state of war.  They would rip out each other's hair, drop glitter glue bombs on each other, break each other's wings, rip off each other's legs...so many atrocities.

The rulers of the unicorn kingdom were Sunstar and her sister, Moondancer (whom I recently found out are Gwendolyn and the Jewel Riders merch).  Sunstar ruled the kingdom during the day, while her sister ruled during the night, so that the kingdom was constantly protected.  (Yes, Friendship is Magic STOLE MY DAY/NIGHT RULING SISTERS IDEA.  I'm convinced they broke into my bedroom and watched me play.)

Anyway, the rulers are still with me and strong as ever, though Sunstar sadly lost her horn in an epic battle with the Dragon King, and Moondancer's saddle was stolen by his minions.  Here are the regal sisters today:

But the sisters couldn't fight all the battles themselves. They had a battalion of highly skilled special ops warriors.  Anyone remember Fantasy Fillies?  The unicorns had JEWEL HORNS, which not only looked awesome but were perfect for puncturing dragon hide.

Some of them had flowers in their manes that lit up to blind dragons for minutes at a time!

There were even tiny Fantasy Fillies, who could distract the minions while the big unicorns were storming the gates.

But not all members of the Unicorn Kingdom were warriors.  Most were ordinary, peaceful citizens.  These included all MLPs, and these very girly-looking ponies with painted hooves...

And although the war has long since passed, and the dragons were forever banished to an old Aldi's bag in the back of my closet, I still collect fakies today.  The Lalaloopsys are particular favorites of mine.

I have several of those. They are Enchanted Kingdom horses, and have lots of accessories -----actually there are fakies of Enchanted kingdom horses in the same molds but with a cheaper plastic and none of the cool accessories

I just found a baby version of one of my favorite fakies, and as soon as she comes in the mail, I'll share a picture of the two of them together.

Rachel-Eyes, I was drooling over your breyer when you first posted the picture :) Yes, the limited edition runs are very collectable and usually go for a good price to other collectors. I think yours will be signed Peter Stone who was the sculptor.
Have a look at this link :) And you definately got a bargain there!!

Thank you for sharing your stories, MLPForever. You are so very creative. :frolic: If you haven't already, I think you should pick up creative writing because that's some imagination you've got there! I'd love to see your dragons sometime too. That sounds like quite the battle!

Thanks for the link, GothMummy. Good gracious, I figured he was special because of the autograph, but I knew nothing of the special runs at all! To think that the only reason I chose him out of the other Breyers on display was because I thought that the golden sheen would have fit in better with the rest of my fantasy horse collection! I didn't even notice the autograph until I got home...

Does anyone know how much he's worth?

My childhood clip-cloppy girls, with a latecomer yellow unipeg!

*gasp* I had that yellow alicorn!! I remember it so well, the horn lit up and it neighed and made galloping sounds, plus the wings flapped. I loved it.... I would fly it around while watching Fantasia as a child. All my other ponies at the time were earth ponies... I had two CPK fakies and a couple of the ballerina babies, so she was my special magical pony princess.

I dont know the values of special run breyers, Im afraid, as they always go out of my price range on ebay etc I tend not to take notice of them. Breyers are so expensive (in the UK anyway) and my collection is small,  - but I do love them.

MLPForever - I enjoyed your fakie story :)

you know its really nice to see fakies finally getting the love they deserve! I remember way back when I first joined the online MLP community for some reason those unique non MLPs where hated and reviled. :( I'm so glad the communities attitude towards them are changing for the better. :)

I have always loved them and believe they play a very important roll in the toy world. When I was little my parents couldn't often afford to buy me real MLPs. but there was always an "affordable" fakie pony that they could get me and I'm sure there are a lot of other children out there from lower income families that would never have known the joy of playing with a pony toy if it wasn't for those noble fakies.  :)
