So to begin with some collectors have favorite ponies and some don't, for those that do here's a strange 'quick get her sectioned' kinda question.

Do you have a pony hierarchy?

By this I mean do you sort your collections into status? I'll use the easiest example i can which is religion (I'm not religious but its simple and easy to follow). Say for example the big C religion has a god, angels, preachers/teachers and then the masses. In basic form of course.

Here's the '411' as they say;
Gusty is my all time fave pony/character in existence ever in the whole history of my little pony, so in terms of hierarchy she is a god.

Peachy and Starflower have moved up to Angel status.

I would say that Boysenberry Pie, SS Bouncy, Dainty Dahlia, Flower Burst, all CP ponies other than Peachy and SS Ribbon are teachers

And at the moment all my other ponies are the masses (though my new Confetti is working her way towards teacher and she's only been here a few hours.

Anyone else have a pony hierarchy? Sorry about the religion bumf, it was the simplest thing I could use to explain my meaning which still probably makes no sense to anyone and you all probably think i'm a fruitcake now (if you didn't already)

If I make it even simpler Gusty is my super fave pony above all others, then others go in stages of favoritism down to ponies you like the look of so you buy but don't display so much as the others heck i'm not good at explaining myself today.

Oh and just in case anyone reading has started dialing the local asylum I don't think ponies are deities or angels it's just an example

I guess I do in a way... I have my favorites and then within that group, special favorites.  But after that, my very favorite seems to change with the wind.

I do! Heeheeeee yes, as much as I love all my G4 ponies equally I actually took the time to assign them ranks. They are based on both my favorites and from powers in the show. Although Celestia is supposed to be the almighty powerful pony, I consider Minty a legendary-well worshiped famous pony in my herd my 3 princesses respect. She is like the Goddess Hylia of my ponies almost. Celestia, Luna, and Cadance are like my 3 goddesses. As for Twilight, well maybe she can just be the princess. +1000 nerd points if you even know what I am talking about! I kind of think of my fashion styles as 'guardians' of my smalll brushables, my new Pinkiezilla (on her way to me) can just be some ultimate defensive protection pony! Im not religious, but I like the way the Christian angel hierarchy is set up to describe how my ponies are ranked:

YES! the nerd points are yours! =P Although I should just make Minty 'god rank' since she is like my Hylia, I feel like my 3 favorite of my princesses should have the god rank and minty is too awesome she must have her very own rank! That and I wanted to mane 6 to be Seraphim since in Christianity they have '6 wings' I wanted to make each one of them the mane 6 to make it kind of match up!

** I should take a picture of them lined up like in my staircase ranking text! =O

I promoted Princess Glittering Gem to Queen since Majesty looked a bit tired. (plus she came to me second hand so she was never as special as the others) THe other princess ponies were, well, princesses with their husbands as princes then there were favourite unicorn and Pegasus guards a little lower down. That's as far as my hierarchy went. Although my collectors pose ponies were also sent to the retirement carry case on a lower shelf because they kept falling over due to being sleepy.

I never did this with my ponies 'cause I really didn't have too many as a kid but I sure as heck did it with my Breyers!    Had an entire mythos worked out for them with different placings in society for everything from scale, woodgrains, old & new decorators, mold & finally the pegasi & unicorns. Even the horses with tack had a special ranking as the constabulary!
