Organize ALL the ponies!

I don't really have a set way of organising my ponies, although they are very much in some kind of order.

All of my G4's are on one shelf inc blind bags, as are my G3's.
They are all organised so that the ones facing left are on the right and the ones facing right are on the left (so they face each other) then they are organised by colour within that.
My Breezies, G1 petites and Mommy Charms are also organised this way.

G1 ponies are all organised in family groups (I make these up!) 
Those that don't yet have families are all on one shelf.

Since I don't collect them as 'sets' I can't display them that way.
Although I do have two nearly complete sets - BnGs and MGR - these are kept together.

Accessories are in little glass Ikea jars by type.

I do love relcelestia's colour groups!!

I organize mine by mold so they fit best on the shelves. ^-^

Since I have just a small collection, I keep them all in a drawer.

I organize by pose.

My G4s are semi-organized by type with the CMCs in the middle, then regular adults, then the 4 princesses on the ends.

My G1s are just in the first symmetrical pattern I thought of.  No real rhyme or reason to it.

Other... essentially it's by wave release, but I've got Fashion styles behind the corresponding regular brushable and BBs in front of.

G1 are by set and pose, g3 by pose, g4 are by colour. The g3's used to be by colour, but they fit on the shelves better by pose

I organize by pose. I think any other way looks messy..

I organize them by generation, and each generation by series; like the Candy Canes together, Sundae Bests together, etc.

Oh I forgot to add a "By series/set" option! I knew I was missing something.
I'd like to do by set as well once my collection gets bigger

Mine are by Generation (easy - they are all G1)
Then of course by sets......TAF, Big Brothers etc.

These are SOME that are in a display cupboard! Rest are packed (in sets) in storage boxes!

I keep mine in several different places, but usually they are grouped by gen. I'll mix gens within a location but will put them by each other. For example I had a bookcase in my room that had G1's on the top two shelves, and then G3 on the bottom two. G4's are usually the ones that are spread all over and unorganized though!

Right now they're all boxed up by gen, so once we actually move I'll have to figure out how to display them again (but man will that be exciting!)

By gen, but also by favorite, and a few friendships in my herd (Snowflake and Powder are good friends, but Snuzzle and Peachy are not, so Peachy is on the other side of the shelf from Snuzzle  )

On the G4 shelves, the bottom shelf is devoted to the Fluttershy army, and second shelf is organized by color and what side the cutie mark is on, and the shelf above that has the rest of the mane six, the Celestias and Lunas, my little unicorn rubber ducky, and one blind bag pony

I loosely group mine by generation, and I have a cute blind bag shelf in the works.

I'm afraid I don't know what you're talking about.  The concept of organisation is not compatible with my collection.

By gen mostly. G4s have their own lil place, G3s have theirs, G1s all sit on my dresser except for the ponies and other characters (Megan and Spike) from RaMC who have the privilege of being on my bedside table and posed together.
