Well, I was just looking at the TAF ponies that I don't have prices. I went to check TAF Buttons, and..

 

60 dollars? ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY FIVE? x-x Night Glider and Munchy in that set is expensive as it is, I thought TAF Buttons was a 20 dollar pony at best. u-u

Seriously, just wait and they will come along for something more reasonable. I've got some great ponies in lots for much, much less than their worth, and sometimes you can pay for the expensive pony and get a whole bunch of commons thrown in, which if you sell them or add them to you collection, evens out the cost!

Those TAF Buttons are overpriced I got mine for ~$20ish on ebay, and it's not too hard to get one for $30 or less if you're patient. Same with Night Glider. Munchy seems to frequent the $50 mark though.

I'm not really too shocked by prices anymore (after being in the Nirvana world for a while ) but when I joined here I was surprised to see Mimic was so expensive, Munchy was popular and Rapunzel was a wallet breaker.

Yup, eBay prices can fluctuate and playing the waiting game can prove to be worth it.

Munchy actually will usually remain up there in price because she is very sought after. She and Yum Yum I don't think I've ever seen for less than $30.

For me it's G4 ponies. I guess now that collecting and MLP in general is more widespread people will buy ponies and then resell them later to make a pretty penny. I think that sucks for people who do end up missing a release, because then they have to pay an arm and a leg for a such a little thing!

I managed to snatch up a Yum Yum for $20, which I was pretty thrilled about, but Munchy usually goes for much more ($50-60 I believe).

I was amazed at the price of some of the TE's. Bright Eyes, Whizzer and a good-condition Gingerbread can be hella expensive! Makes wanting to finish that set kind of frustrating.

I was surprised by Diamond Dreams when I joined the online forums. The MGR ponies as a set seemed to be pretty cheap....then I saw DD constantly go for like 40-60 dollars. Now not much surprises me.....unless it's a bidding war. lol
