Issues with Jinifire

I really like the concept of jinifire and I even like her outfit and hair, but I just can't get over that darn cranky expression! Unfortunately, I kinda feel like this completely ruins it for me and I won't be buying her.  Does anyone else agree with me?

Oh I adore Jinafire!!  But I also love all the different dolls just for this reason.  Some appeal to certain people while others appeal to others.  There's dolls for everyone!

Eh, whatever floats your boat. Her expression just really irritates me. I kinda feel the same way about cleo too. Btw, what I originally said was a lot funnier, but I guess the mod didn't think so.

I think she is lovely, but a tad bug-eyed.  I plan on repainting her eyes.  Maybe it's her eyebrows giving you an "angry" vibe?

Ok, so don't buy her. There's plenty of people who love her, not everyone needs to have the same opinion.

I like her because the has a wicked sort of expression. just like I like Rochelle because she has a doe-eyed expression.
the uniqueness of each doll is what draws most collectors and fans to the line.
after all, the whole message of MH is to be yourself. Jina is a dragon....she can be a little cranky

The mods have a great sense of humor. I imagine it was actually due to the reason listed, which was language. This is a family friendly board, after all

I don't think Jina has the prettiest face of all the monsters, but I do like it. She looks oddly 'spiritual' to me with her eyes all big and wide the way they are!

I think she looks like Snooki from Jersey Shore. My poor hubby actually went out of his way to buy me a MH doll, and I had him take it back.

I actually love her expression. It has a very wicked look as jupiternwndrlnd stated. If it weren't for her expression I'm not sure if I would have picked her up. Though her hair may have sold me. I love the oriental style.

I agree that it's her eyebrows.And for some reason I never really thought about the fact that she's a dragon and they can be "cranky".    it's a good point. Maybe I just need to see her in person first and then decide? Or maybe I just need some convincing? Someone show me some beautiful pictures of thus ghoul and convince me otherwise!


P.s.: I didn't mean to offend anyone by this post. I was just stating my opinion and wanted to hear everyone else's.

Awe! He tried! That's so adorable. What makes you think she looks like snooki? Personally I don't really see it but that's just me.

I like everything about Jinafire except her eyes/eyebrows. ; _ ; I really wanted her too but I'm not sure about the face. Kinda looks wall eyed a little too. x__x Not that I've seen one in store anyway. D: If I wasn't terrible at painting eyes then I'd probably get her anyway, to repaint. She could have a really cute mischievous look with those eyebrows, the shape of them is really cool...

Bought a Skelita and ended up reselling her for the same reason, I liked everything about her but she looks wall eyed... D: I like to photograph my dolls so it kinda makes it difficult when their eyes are off. x.x
