Issues with Jinifire

I really like Jinafire, I saw a picture of her before I started collecting and I decided that she was the doll I really truly want to own. She was the third doll I bought, the first two being Draculauras. I can't put my finger on what it is about her, but hte combination of her color scheme, her outfit and the way the designers have incorporated Chinese influences in her look just really works for me.

I don't particularly like Skelita. The reason is her legs, I love the idea of a skeleton, but for some reason Skelita's legs creep me out. I don't know why, I like her design just fine and still... so I get where you are coming from. Not every doll is for everyone and I can understand that you might feel a little let down when you saw the actual doll, after waiting for her. But hey, maybe they make another version, which you might like better?

Jinafire's brows definitely point in a downward position, making her look mad. I still want her though.

I didn't like Jinafire at first, but she grew on me quickly! I love her enormous eyes, her barbed eyebrows, and her scales. I really live dolls that use all-unique parts!

I didn't like the promo shots of her and loved Skulita. When I seen Skulita I had to pass on her and get Jinafire instead. She is one of my favorite monster's.

Jinafire is my favorite monster.  Everything about her is elegantly monster-like.  I love her facial expression; she looks so serious.  I imagine her upbringing was hard and full of adversity, that's why she looks so tough.

Wow! I really like the first one. She looks a lot better with her hair down, or partially down. Hmm... I'm usually a MIB collector though. Idk..I'm torn now! Maybe some more pics would help? Does anyone else have pictures of theirs?

I never noticed anything like that with Jinafire's expression! She has an interesting face, I like it a lot. The only problem I have with her face is that her eyebrows look like harpoons, I mean, just look at them.

I do have an issue with her stand, though. Jinafire seems to want to lean backwards, and needs to have something behind her in order to stand without falling. It's very annoying when I want to play with the doll that's directly behind her -- I almost always have to take Jinafire down too.

I don't really like her either.  It's mostly her lizard eyes (can't get past those, that sultry paint job is a big improvement to me) and a little bit the body (both the skin tone and scales).  But I also don't collect many MH dolls and am exceptionally picky.  She is one of the more unique monsters so I can see why avid collectors might like her.

with all these awesome photos and what not she's kind of growing on me, but I still think I need to see her in person. I'm going to look when I go MH hunting tomorrow!
