Ever feel sorry for G3.5?

It may sound a bit silly but I feel sorry for this G3.5 toy that is at my local Kmart. It's been there ever since I started collecting (about a year now) and it just looks so unwanted, each time I pony hunt I see it shoved to the back of the shelf in worse and worse condition... I always set it back upright and check it's condition. I would buy it because it just feel so wrong and sad to have not been bought but it's a 'Pinkie Pie with Sweet Sounds Hair Brush' and is something like $30... I almost think the store has forgotten about it since it's surrounded by G4 but it's never put on sale or just removed.

Anyone else ever see an old unwanted pony and feel sorry for it too? I know not everyone liked G3.5 but it's just weird how much I feel sorry for it lol.

Yes I see the odd G3.5 in shops around, nobody seems to want them any more and yes, I do feel kinda sorry for them but I guess they were never very popular.

Well, it never happened with a pony but at the moment we have this really cute pink pencil cushion for sale and it has been there for months now. Noone seems to want it because it's dirty and a bit ripped. We even have it on discount, but still xD

I feel really bad for it, though. Poor unwanted pencil cushion :< If it doesn't sell until my birthday, I will buy it for myself !

We have a few G3.5 they are sweet! was gonna get them for my daughters to play with, thinking they would be a dead cheap pony alternative, but don't really see them for sale much

There's a newborn Scootaloo in my toy store for a ridicolously high price, and she has always been there. Occaisonally they move her to another shelf They also have 2 of Rainbow's nursery or something, and a Ponyville gumball machine too, but I find the Scootaloo the most lonely...

Ugh, no.  The G3.5's are the only "generation" I don't collect.  I'm actually sort of in denial that they exist.  That said, I thought the animation, coloring books, packaging art, etc. of them was really cute.  I also really like the newborn cuties.

Actually, if anyone finds a newborn cutie Sweetie Belle lonely on a shelf somewhere, I'd happily give her a home.  She's the only one I don't have and is actually my favorite.

I do find G3.5's faily often lonely on a forgotten shelf.  Now that you mention it, they do seem sad . . .    Oh geeze, see what you're doing to me!

I never liked the either, when they fist started to show up in the store I was like " WHAT!" I am sad to say that I do not feel bad or sad for them.

I just got the pinkie pie and the star song styling  G3.5, they are designed poorly,Pinkie Pie oversized head is not very attractive I have to admit,they are growing on me slowly ,Star song is better designed her head is not as big as pinkie's.
I think that will be it for me as far as the g3.5 collection.
I did get the  rc plane   rainbow dash ,but a g4 is in it

I definitely feel sorry for G3.5.  I personally...ok, I don't "love" them, but I like them!  I feel badly that they always get overlooked, the poor things.  But they are definitely odd lol.

Wow, I can't believe they didn't put that on clearance a long time ago! When a product is discontinued, that's what you do. Poor thing, sitting there on the shelf...

Something about the G3.5 faces just . . . makes me angry.   Really.  There are other pony molds that I don't much like--the Sweetheart Sisters, G2s, the Newborn Cuties, and G4s--but G3.5s are the only ones that  tap some buried instinctual rage in me.  I can't even stand to look at them.

I guess that is my "long answer" way of saying that I don't feel sorry for them at all.  I don't really think of toys that way anyway.

Ehhh.. a few have sneaked in here and there, but I wouldn't buy one off the shelf.

Very sorry for them. They may look a little strange, but they can be very beautiful, and after all, they're still ponies! And they have wonderful hair!
