Impressions on Trixie and Lyra.

I actually really like them, I love Lyra's shade of green.

I just wanted to add that I love Cherry Berry as well - better than the unicorns in fact - I like pink and I so love the yellow hair. However, every since I have seen the Cherry Berry with Pinkie Pie symbol and yellow hair, I desperately think thats the way HB should have gone with Pinkie [plus a very cool nod back to Surprise as well].

I can see how they're sort of bland, I think they'd be a bit better with more character specific accessories. Those two are usually the last survivors besides Rarity and Twilight at my store.

Sunny Rays from the same wave looks great because of the contrast, she usually sells out first and i'm not even sure about Cherry Berry, she sort of blends in with Cherry Pies and Pinkie Pies.

I got both of the ones that I ordered a while back yesterday. I think they both are cute. I just HATE that the DVD is in front of them!!! I was hoping for ones without that DVD!!!

They're both so pretty and I love my Lyra to pieces^^ Kinda hesitate to get Trixie though because I don't like her personality in the show and as lovely a shade of blue as she is, I'd feel growly every time I looked at her XP

Honestly, this is what bothered me about FIM from the start.
Most ponies in the show got very simple color combinations (nearly every male has some grey or brown) and hardly any pony has multicolored manes.
The best you get is "a color + white" or  "a color + a different shade of that color".
With everyone being so hyped about background / show ponies, i fear for less variation.
The easiest way to see this is to compare the early blindbag ponies to the newest ones. Hardly any multicolored manes in the newest set.

At the moment, I see most people finding her with the DVD in the US and without elsewhere...although there is some cross over of course.
