Impressions on Trixie and Lyra.

Personally I think this is my favorite wave yet.

Trixie I was just excited about in general. I didn't think they would make her since she wasn't a main character but I'm so glad they did.

Lyra is stunning. I love her mint color and the slightly darker green/white combo in her hair really sets her off. She's my favorite one in this wave. Probably one of my favorite G4s as of yet now.

Cherry Berry.....she's cute, but she isn't my favorite.

Sunny Rays....love her. She reminds me of a Mattel Little Pretty puppy from the 80s I love so much. I am also a big fan of yellow ponies and she is just the right shade of light yellow.

I got Trixie a while back. I really like her. I've not got Lyra yet but I'm not as fond of her colours, which is odd as I prefer green to blue. D: Might just be because I don't have one of my own though.

Though generally I don't like monocolour characters... like... dare I say, I don't like Pinkie Pie... > 3>

I like them also. But adding some color to them would be nice. I hope they come out with some colorful ones!!!!!

I like their color schemes fine. What bothers me is my Trixie has really greasy hair. It feels almost wet.

I love them.  I love that they add some much-needed green and blue to my pony shelf.  What I really want is Minty to add in some more green as well (especially green/white/pink - it looks like candy), but I will happily take Lyra if that's the only green pony we're going to get.

Lyra with the green body, darker green hair, and musical symbol reminds me of Medley, one of my favorite G1s!

I just got them a few days ago, so I haven't had a whole lot of time to admire them. However, I do feel like they have been overly hyped to me by all the posts online about them. Not that I am blaming the intenet for my non instant love, but I do feel like I knew them inside and out before ever seeing them with my own eyes.

Honestly, this is what bothered me about FIM from the start.
Most ponies in the show got very simple color combinations (nearly every male has some grey or brown) and hardly any pony has multicolored manes.
The best you get is "a color + white" or  "a color + a different shade of that color".
With everyone being so hyped about background / show ponies, i fear for less variation.
The easiest way to see this is to compare the early blindbag ponies to the newest ones. Hardly any multicolored manes in the newest set.

I find them a little boring too, but I'm still glad to have them, heh heh. I might add a little silver to Trixie's hair to spruce her up a bit. I also want to rehair a Cherry Berry, though I haven't decided on a color scheme yet.

I actually understand where you are coming from. Dont get me wrong - I appreciate the variety of colour and a blue pony is always a good thing. But I do think they would popped a little more for me if there was a contrasting colour in their mane or just a shade or 2 darker in colour in hair to body.

From this set I love Sunny Days and she is my favourite as a love the yellow and purple colour combination on her!

im right there with you on that one, i was a little disappointed when i unpacked them and cherry berry, may be it was the over hype on them. i love sunny rays she is the best out of the lot, i think the best wave was wave 3 with cupcake and blossomforth, they were so interesting.
it was a shame cos i was exited to get lyra for her minty colour.
to be honest i actually found the hybrids trixie shy and lyra rays more interesting, im not a fan of twilight's eyes so that didn't help

I love these two, I both think they are solid colors-- and I'm so happy to see ponies without pink and purple hair.

I like both, I was recently doing pics of the ponies by color, pink color are so many of them in different shades, also there are purple in many shades, and whites, but greenish and  blueish not that many, the only other bluish is rainbow dash  and the only other greenish is snowcatcher and dewdrop dazzle ,  nightmare moon blue accents are super cool too

I really like them, my only complaint is that Lyra's cutie mark is... elongated and almost down her complete thigh.  maybe i'm the only one, but i expected it to be smaller on her side.

It's better than Lemony Gems' cutie mark, which is super tiny and seems blind bag sized on her flank, makes her look so naked. Couldn't they have made it bigger?
