I like them both! Personally, it's nice to see a pony that has hair that matches it's body. However they are not my favorite because that spot is reserved for Sunny Rays

Sunny Rays all the way!!

Trixie's my girl, yo!  Love her, both in toy and show form!  I prefer show Lyra, but the only reason is because of the toy's eye shape.  It would be perfect if they'd just created a new unicorn head mold for her, but no!  And yes, having a green pony is nice since there aren't enough of them.

I don't mind them being monotonous.  There are times when I prefer it because some other ponies look like they got mixed up in a paint ball fight where they were trapped in a corner with no ammo and every other player was firing everything at them!

I totally forget if I posted in this thread. But yeah, love them.

Lyra is such a great colour of green, and has such nice golden eyes. Trixie is super cute, too. I like how her hair almost looks a little metallic.

Some people may think they are drab, but I like how they are unique colors, and not combo'd with pink like every other pony. They have a kind of classic pony feel to them.

Just a thought, even though I already posted in this thread: Of the original six G1 ponies, Cotton Candy, Blue Belle, Blossom and Butterscotch were pretty much monochromatic! And little girls loved them. Sometimes simple is best :)

Do you know...I was one to not like Trixie/Lyra because of the boring colour combo...but thats a pretty awesome comparison. I may have to rethink this a little. :P

I love them, personally. I love the color pink, but it's really nice to see some ponies without that color in them!

I find pastel-colored ponies beautiful, so Lyra was an instant hit for me.
I don't like Trixie's shade of blue because I expected her to be a few shades lighter. I purchased her anyways because her mane and tail are gorgeous.

I definitely have to say that I love Lyra's colors - she really stands out amongst all the other brushable ponies they've released (or at least the ones I have), because of that lovely green color. They may be kind of monotone, but the comparison

is really right on - it does make me think of a throwback to the sweet original six <3
