I don't like these very much at all. I like molded hair as much as the next guy, but I'll always prefer my ponies with real hair. The faces on these isn't very good looking in my opinion either. I don't like those drastic cheek bones or the super pointy nose.
the only perk on these ponies I'm seeing is the wings are much much better then the hideous ones on the FS ponies.  I really like the shape of them actually.

I hate to be a whiner, but all these new FiM toys are kinda disappointing. I don't like all the gimmicky things, constant re-releases of the main 6, or the absolutely terrible quality control. /end pessimistic rant
That said I am glad that we are getting so much variety.  Sooner or later I'm sure they'll make something I really love.

Oh- yours seems to have the same flaw on her mane that mine does- I wonder if they were from the same batch

Um- don't most of the ponies have brushable hair?  I actually appreciate Hasbro sending out some different products once in a while-  I love the brushables and FS ponies- but different is good!

It is true most ponies have brushabe hair but lately we have been getting more Blind Bags and less brushable new ponies. Not that I mind blind Bags ponies (favorite of all g4s) but some more non -main 6 brushables would be nice. As for different products I do like that idea too. These disign ponies are nice and a cute idea. Other different things would also be nice to see.

At least for me, I mean that MLP has traditionally been about plastic ponies with brushable hair but with the volume of blind bag characters, it feels as though HB are putting new character focus on completely moulded ponies. I just wish they would put as much effort into brushables as they do into blind bags. And honestly in G4, it feels as though more time and effort has been in new characters in inch high poses rather than brushable ponies - 2012 has seen only 10 new single characters with brushable hair released [and thats in including the playset] - thats poor in comparison to all previous gens.

Sarah - do you think the black lines will all be easily removed with acetone? Are they paint rather than raised black plastic?

I actually love the blind bags since they are so teeny to collect and don't take up much space-  but I agree there should be more variety and characters for the brushable variety...  I'm not sure that one excludes the other?

For sure the black lines will be easy to remove- they are painted on and come up with nail polish remover.

But it's basically FS Dash so unless you prefer the different wings and pointier nose that's rather pointless. :/
