Drawable- colorable G4 ponies

So it looks like drawable-colorable Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy should have come out a while ago-  Someone found them in finished form somewhere (pics of packaged products) on

I have been looking everywhere for them- but have only seen 2 come up on Taobao- both defective RDs.

I know that Hasbro won't mass produce something unless they get enough orders from the stores themselves- I am worried that these weren't ordered or maybe were dropped.  I suppose since they are Crystal Empire though- they still may be on the way.

What I didn't realize about this pony- was that the "drawings" are only one one side-  the other side is blank!

Has anyone seen these in stores anywhere?  It looks like someone on the Arena spotted these first- does anyone know more about them?  Did anyone else buy one and if so- where?

I forgot about these! I hope they do get released, they're pretty neat! Interesting to see that the mould is a bit different than the regular FS ponies.

I am a bit bummed they are FS sized, only because I was hoping they were going to be the size of the smaller ponies with molded hair.
Not sure how I feel, it looks like they have saggy cheeks.
With that said -- i still LOOOOOVE the concept.

Yes- I am sure nail polish remover will get the drawing marks right off-  I haven't actually tried until I know there will be more available.

I have to think they will be considerably cheaper than the FS ponies since plastic is cheaper than seran?

I love the better wings, but the saggy cheeks make them look like grannies. lol I'm not sure about the noses, either. I know they're more show accurate in shape, which a lot of people like, but I think the FS ones are cuter. It's good to know their size is the same as the Fashion Styles', this is the first confirmation we've had on that.

I've wanted molded hair ponies for awhile, but I think it's going to be price that determines if I get these or not. Can't wait to see them in stores.

It'd be nice if they gave those wings to the regular FS's, the ones they have now are just horrible.

Since these will be part of the Crystal Empire line, perhaps these will somehow connect with the show? (Not the blank areas, but the color-in symbols)

If they're the same as the LPS ones, the ink will come off super easy with some acetone or goof off. I'd say since we have final, in package imagery they are for sure going into production. At our company in general we only produce packaging for things that have a PO put in for sure. With all the new stuff we've been seeing too, i have theorized before that most likely we will see a second wave of crystal empire stuff hitting stores in the future with a mostly new product lineup.
