G3.5... Is there anyone that prefers them?

I only have one gen 3.5 it is pinkie pic with her bunny ears i got her MIB. I took her out though and she loves to hang with my fake ponies. I would love to own that Ferris wheel set that was made for them though, and all the rest i am missing.

While they aren't my favorite generation, they have grown on me over time. I only have 6, and a few from McDonalds, but I do love them. I can't bring myself to hate any of the generations.

G1s are just pure epic fantasy for me and what I always wished for as a kid, bit was just out of reach.

G2 is my childhood, so nostalgia and good memories of shopping with mom for them and playing with them and the playsets.

G3 I didn't think was cool when they were out. But now I have grown to like them a lot.

G3.5... Don't know if I like them? I think the Mom's look cute, and I wouldn't mind having some of the basic ones.

G4s combines everything I like about all the generations. I just hope they spice up the lines a bit more.

Gotta be honest, I don't like the G3.5s much. However, I LOOOOOVE the momma ponies that came with the babies. I have Momma Rainbow Dash and Momma Pinkie Pie. I'd sure like to get my hand on Mommy Cheerilee someday. Preferably loose.

They really have the 'mom' look because of the hairstyle. Freakin' cute.

Although not my favorite I do like G3.5. I was excited for the new style and different take on the pony line and branding when they came out. They are cute in their own way. Even the cartoon was kind of cute (not the newborn cuties one *shudders*). I have most of them in my collection. I'm grateful for g4, but g3.5 were cute. I mean, ponies in pigtails....so cute!

Hah! I'm one of the ones that has a hatred of the g3.5s... ESPECIALLY the newborn cuties. And I've been vocal about it from the start.

But hey, more power to ya if you like them.  I only own a sweetiebelle and it's because she was a gift.

They've got their charms, I only have a StarSong though, but I did wish I'd been able to get a Sweetie Belle.

Aw, that makes me sad to hear people say they are afraid to show love for their favorite gen on a board dedicated to all gens!

Still, I wish people would just nicely state why they dislike something instead of acting like everyone who likes it has no taste. To quote a song, "Just because you don't like it, don't mean it ain't no good!"

I know,right?  But the problem is that when you say you adore something the others hate,they're all like  ,, How come you like those uglies .'' I never thoguht they were ugly at all.I think G3.5 deserves love just like any other gen and the haters...if the haters don't like them,that doesn't mean they should all go everywhere and share their mind.I know,everyone has their own interests,style and mind,but it's just sad seeing bad comments for a thing you actually love

The thing I like about the G3.5 is that they are pretty good quality. Nice heavy plastic, good paint, good size to play with. They are cute in their own right but I think you have to view them separately than other pony gens because they are just so different. I like them, don't love them but have some. It was a running joke in my house for a while we would always say things like "Prof. Mustard killed Ms. Scarlet in the ballroom with the G3.5" (for those of you that remember clue lol) just as a joke because they were so dense and heavy. I think G4s have become my favorite of all gens which is saying something since I am a child of the 80s and love G1s

I only have one, which was a gift from my grandmother, and she's so adorable now that I have her. They've really grown on me.

I think they are growing on me, mostly because of all that hair!!! It's so lovely

I have a couple waiting around to be cleaned, and I love the moms so much I don't think I'll part with them. I have a giant styling pinkie pie too I grabbed because she's so cute.

I like the pony ville sets a lot now and buy the playsets for my bf's niece when I can. That teapot and Ferris wheel just kill me with sweetness.
