G3.5... Is there anyone that prefers them?

I love G3.5! I think G3 is my favorite, but G3.5's chibi style is so cute to me and I much prefer most of the hair styles, particularly the forelocks. I think they're totally adorable.

Like many others, they are not my favorite, but I do like them and actively collect them.  At first, I didn't, but they have grown on me.  The only g3.5's I don't really like are those odd mermaid things.

I especially like the G3.5 Glitter Names

One, nothing can surpass my nostalgia love for G1s-- but G4s are nipping at G1's ankles to be honest.

I for one was excited about G3.5s-- and I thought a change was needed... I felt nothing for G2s or G3s. 9__9. I thought hate for that gen was very sad, and it made me feel uncomfortable for a long time because whenever a G3.5 was mentioned-- someone HAD to pop in to say "ugh".
I think customs made with G3.5s are super duper cute.

But then came along G4 and stole my heart. ;3

I like them too. They are not my favorite generation but I really don't have a favorite generation as far as the toys go. I tend to like all generations of the toys the same.

As most others have said they're not my favorite gen but I absolutely adore them. Then again I adore every My Little Pony cuz' well... they are My Little Ponies =)

I do prefer the G3.5's over G2's to be honest. But yeh, G1 is just pure nostalgia and so awesome, nothing is gonna be able to replace that for me

I'm a G4 fan girl, and those G3.5s just creep me out. To me they just aren't well made or even cute.

That is so cool!  I love the messed up versions of my little pony!  I have a my little pony zombie tshirt which I totally love. As for G3.5 they ain't my favorite but I have some anyhow.

I remember being rather dismayed with the 3.5s when they were released. I felt they were trying too hard to emulate the 'Bratz' look (which I DESPISE!), and it made them look a bit bizarre and off.

If you're into them though, then that's awesome for you. After all, as has already been pointed out you have less competitors for them, and they're still in some stores!

Interesting topic and as you say it is a gen that doesnt seem to top anyones lists - for me they are perhaps my least fav generation but its more the lack of imagination in characters that does it for me than anything else - any toy line which is based around 7 characters, 7 toys and nothing else gets tired fast in my opinion. I know one or just a handful of core characters is common in toy manufacture - Barbie anyone - but we were spoiled with G1 and G3 so 3.5 felt a let down and unless G4 manages to add some more playable ponies to the brushable sets, I could start to feel the same lack of love.
