US Blind Bags Wave 3 and Wave 4- Where have they been found?

I see more and more are finding wave 3. Maybe there is hope yet.

Went to Wal-Mart today- all they had was an empty Wave 4 box with 1 opened, empty and torn bag in it. I *did* pick up a Twilight and Pnkie plush, though. Some 20-something-ish guy who worked there saw me with the Pinkie Pie, his eyes bulged out and then he GUSHES: "Oh WOW! You got PINKIE PIE?! My daughter is gonna be so PISSED! She LOVES those things! She has the blue Nightmare Moon, and the wedding castle with the guy and bride. You should get that one, it's really cool." So I show this guy the empty box of BB's and ask him if there are more in the back. He follows me into the MLP aisle and another guy co-worker (who also seems unusually interested) walks up and just hangs out watching his friend get excited over spotting Cherry Berry ("oh, wow- Cherry Berry! Sunny Rays!) the new guy asks his friend if he would like him to purchase a pony for him to play with. Then I said he knew too much to NOT be a collector. His reply to his co-worker? "Their value decreases once you de-box them!" BRONY IN DA HOUZZZZZZ!!!!! Lolol
Ps- When I called him a "BRONY", he denied it. Funny that he already knew what a BRONY was

I found a complete box of the wave 3 blind bags at my local Toys R Us (CT) last week, I bought the whole thing and some other MLP  I have yet to see the blind bags at any of the local Targets and my local Walmarts are perpetually out of them

I finally found more of the purple bags, but not the ones I need.    Figures!  I am still on the hunt.

I did buy the ones they have for possibly trading.

I still haven't found any wave 4s. Just that one empty box the day they finished the toy reset and they never restocked.

Thats so frustrating! Have you asked if they can order you a box in? Although knowing the order system you could end up with something completely different! I know some stores in the UK will order items in subject to the retailers own policies - I guess most would prefer you to buy something from them than try somewhere else.

I asked back when I found the empty box and was told no by the zone manager. Of course, neither of the local Wal-Marts have gotten the posters, so I guess I'm not too surprised.

Here's what I've seen recently:

Colorado (Aurora and/or Denver area):
Walmart: Empty W3 box at one store, almost empty W4 box at another in early Aug. haven't seen anything since.
*Update Sept 7 saw 4 cases of Wave 4 at walmart *
TRU: W3 in early Aug. and re-stocked about a week ago.
Target: W3 starting seeing about a week ago in 2 stores.

California (Sacramento area):
Walmart: W4 in 2 different stores mid-late Aug.

I've been able to complete my Wave 3s but am still missing just 2 ponies from Wave 4. I hope more blue boxes show up.

I am SO happy! I called TRU and they said they had tons of the purple bags. They weren't kidding either! I went there and they had the equivalent of about three full cases.

One thing that did frustrate me though is it's hard to read the numbers printed on the bags. I had a cheat sheet and it was useless. I ended up just buying a full case of them even though I know I have at least eight duplicates. I know I can use some of them for swaps that I am in, so it isn't a bother. The others will be used to decorate my cubicle at work, LOL. If my boss doesn't mind.

But still! I was overjoyed! I thought I'd NEVER find them. So I'm all caught up on blind bags released in the US. Whoohoo!

Nice to hear more Wave 3s have been popping up!
Hopefully, they'll appear in my area. I am getting tired of seeing either Wave 1 or Wave 4s in all the stores I go to.

Wave 3 are the crystal ones? If so, they've shown up in southwest Florida which are the FIRST ones I have seen here. They also revamped the whole pony section in the Wal-Mart I found them in so maybe they'll get more new stuff. Up until now they still had 3.5s on the shelves!

I got four, the box was still pretty full. I didn't have a key on me because I honestly didn't think we'd ever get them here, lol. I managed to get four different ones though so I'm pretty happy! I'll probably go back with the key and get the rest.

edit: The back of the bags say they were distributed in New Zealand. I thought that was odd

The TRU here in Silverdale said they ordered 9 boxes! I told them they were really popular so they got a whole bunch!

Walmart in Bremerton hasn't gotten new blindbags in a month. They aren't sure when they are getting more, but they will get them. The problem is that people buy them all and they're gone and Walmart hasn't been able to restock them.

Sunset Hills. They had TONS of them, so I don't think you have to worry about them selling out too fast.
