I pulled it out the other day as I am reorganising my ponies and I noticed that the heart necklace is white but the line where the two side connect is pink.

The packaging says "pastel heart necklace with silver cord" so I assume it isn't meant to be white.  I can't remember if it was pink when I bought it at the start of the year or if it was white and I just didn't notice the line.  It hasn't been in direct sunlight since it has been with me so if it did change colour during that time, I don't what caused it.  Does anyone know what colour it is meant to be?  If anyone else owns one, how much did you pay roughly?  I'm sure I paid too much but I've never seen it before so I took a ramble on it.

And might I add, stick-on earrings for the win.

No idea what colour the heart is supposed to be, I suppose you're right about it being faded .. but what I just wanted to say: What a lovely piece to own!! So pretty!! *v*

My guess is that it would be faded.  Which doesn't entirely surprise me if it is, since we get faded ponies and such.

But at least it's uniform on the front!  And it's still a super cute piece of merchandise.

I had that watch (sold it recently), but I don't remember it coming with all of the accessories.  I think mine was just a watch and a comb.

I thought the necklace on this item was supposed to be white...it could have been however that those I have seen have all simply faded though. The pink seam would suggest that their is a red pigment issue with the plastic.

It is adorable, I would think around the $30-35 for it.

I really have no idea what the colour is supposed to be of the heart, but if it sais "pastel" I think it's supposed to be pink since white isn't really a pastel colour.

Other than that I also wanted to say: Wow, I just love it. Never seen it before but I understand why you had to buy it. It's so lovely! =)

It's such a cool item though, no matter when it was released. I remember seeing an mlp watch in the store when I was a kid but mom wouldn't buy it for me (I really didn't need it)

OMG <3 I have that set from when I was little. You are so lucky to have it MIB (Now on my MIB want list lol).

My pink heart is exactly the same, very faint pink almost white with darker pink on the seam. It was never kept in the sun, mostly in an accessory box (I didn't wear it much as a child for fear of losing it). I believe that i did not fade, but the way they produced the very faint pink color was some sort of spray that pooled and collected around the seam of the toy.
