August 25th would be better for me (my son's birthday party will most likely be on the 18th). I have been working quite a few double shifts, so I don't know what time everything is thinking.

If we can confirm quickly I can hopefully ask that I don't work a double that day and can meet up with everyone in the afternoon.

As for parks the only ones I know well are the Murray and the Sandy one (with the peace gardens).

The 25th would be better for me too. I don't work that Saturday. Anytime! I'm already getting excited!! I have no great ideas for locations though.

Either day works for me, later in the afternoon is always better since I have to work. Time I can play around with a bit though.

I'm game for anywhere in the valley, Murray Park is a GREAT location.

The later dates are better for me too. I'm on vacation on the 4th. Who knows when my step-sister is getting married in August, I'll have to check the dates on that one.

Ok well I am going to just say let's make August 25th the offical date. Now people can request the day off if they need to. Now for a time. Most people are saying afternoon so would starting at 4 or 5 work and stay for a few hours work??

Yeah i was thinking potluck where everyone brings the meat they want for themselfs and a side dish to share. I will look at locations starting this weekend and try to get that booked asap. If anyone wants to be more involved with planning please pm me and i will put you to work. This meet will be at least as much fun as the last one. Also I hope that these meets go well enough so we can do at least one in the summer and one in the winter

East side of Liberty Park is shady and there's some nice places in Murray Park too.

Keep in mind that I plan to reserve a pavilion for that day. I don't intend for us to get set up and get booted out by a group just because we didn't pay the fee to reserve a spot.

Murray park is totally booked for that date so that is not an option.
I am looking at several parks in sandy and midvale since it's significantly cheaper to book in a city you pay taxes in. Pavillion bookings are looking like about 45$ for half day at most parks.
