Well let us know which park. I haven't been to many... There is one in Midvale/Murray that has the fishing pond. We had my daughter's first birthday there. It  wasn't huge - but it had restrooms & a pavilion. It was off Winchester (back there near the golf course). Would that be too hard for everyone to get too?

There are several nice ones in sandy. I have one in mind that I think would be good and easy to find. It is near a bus stop, shopping center and pool. If I book there I will let you know. Hope to get something booked this weekend.

Slightly off topic, but related to meetups...  Here's the meetup we had today at Liberty park!

They brought grills and food it was great.  The main thing missing was TABLES!  so if the park we go to doesn't have them, let's be sure to bring em!

This is just a head up guys in case you didn't know all of this already.

The following regulations apply to all Sandy City Parks, pavilions, and sport fields.
1. Prohibited Activities The following activities are prohibited in Sandy City Parks:
 (a) Smoking, possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages.
 (b) Inflatable attractions, such as bounce houses, inflatable slides, etc.
 (c) Use of amplified sound devices or making loud noise that is prohibited by City or County Health
ordinances.
 (d) Gambling, fighting, quarreling or use of profane language.
 (e) No soliciting, or sale of merchandise, raffle tickets, or services.
 (f) Camping or parking of vehicles overnight.
 (g) Use of ATV's, motorcycles, or other motorized vehicles except on streets and in parking areas. This does
not apply to City employees engaged in official work for the City.

gabumon - wow. I had no idea there were that many pony fans (bronies) around here.

I think the no sales has to do more with them not wanting to get involved with unhappy people who want to take bad sales expereances out on them for being the host location. Imagine what a pain it would be for them to have a pissed off person trying to track down a seller that sold some item they were unhappy with at one of the parks. I see why the rule is there but I think our case is a bit diffrent and we are all smarter then to think the location we book is responsable for what happens at our event.

I will call them and see if there is some waiver to sign or that we can only sell among attendies or something like that.

I am looking at several parks in sandy and midvale since it's significantly cheaper to book in a city you pay taxes in. Pavillion bookings are looking like about 45$ for half day at most parks.

Wording here suggests you do have someone that lives in Sandy/Midvale, but in case you haven't and need, I live in Sandy.

Will be coming with 3-6. Will probably bring spaghetti (worked well at last weekend's meet), and have paper plates if needed.

My mom was nice enought to book it for me since she lives in sandy. The pavilion reservation was $24.50 since she booked it.

We will probably need a grill and stuff to eat with. I will update the sign up list later today. Just don't want to do it from my phone.
