GB and DotD may be a touch wider.
PhysDead, if she has bangs, are pulled back into her ponytail. fearleader has extremely long ones, but they are pulled to the side as well. there are really only 2 with bangs, SS and DotD.

DT also has bangs pulled to the side. :D

true - but they are the super long ones like the Fearleader. GB and DotD have the short, blunt, thick bangs (that make me batty - lol)

GB doesn't have banks, are you refering to the SS Ghoulia?

Well, SOMEBODY thinks she's pretty in her new Etsy dress and jewelry!

You know, I never considered myself a doll person (I got into books at a very young age and never looked back) but I'm finding it very relaxing to change a doll's look before I go to bed at night. Nice little way to slow my brain down and let the stress of the day go, and instead wonder why Operetta's pants refuse to close in the back!

Since I am kinda new to MH, I was wondering 2 things.
One - is there a way to style or do something with SS Ghoulia's bangs? They drive me crazy. I really rather have a long haired version, but until then I need to do something with the bangs.
two- Moxie clothing seems rather large on MH, is there a way to make it more fitting without alot of sewing? I really am bad at sewing.
Thanks

That dress is absolutely fabulous! I don't suppose you'd share which seller made it?
And I definitely agree with you about not originally being a "doll person." I wasn't into dolls as a child, but now I love them, and I agree that changing a doll's clothes before bed is a wonderfully relaxing thing. I have Moxie Teenz, and they are so much fun because you can change their wigs and they have jewelry packs!

Jadis - i love that dress on Spectra! so pretty ^_^
I never had dolls as a kid either -- funny how that all works out

the bangs make me crazy -- I have managed to get mine pinned over (i used her glasses pushed up like a head band to hold them in place)

I might end up rehairing just the bangs, cause I really dislike them.

The dress and jewelry look great!  I was always way more into ponies than any other toys as a kid, including dolls.  But now I have a ton of dolls--several Barbies, a few Bratz, and now loads of Monster High, and my pony money the last few months has been going towards Monster High.  Heck, my grocery money has been going towards buying MH dolls!

I spent $70 or so :(((  lol.... budget blown.  PB&J for the rest of the month!
I hear ya!  When I was at TRU the other day, I couldn't believe it when I walked out after spending $120.      I've never spent that much on toys at one go.  So yep, bring on the PB&J, potatoes, and beans!

lol... we can have a PB&J picnic!  all collectors that overspend are invited!  we can all pitch in to buy a jar and share it ;)

this is the exact reason I had to get her out of her stock.  she was the scandalous one of the bunch, always bending over with her butt crack hanging out!
looking into a re-branding.

Oh Jadis, same here! I used to find that posing my ponies and/or fixing their hair before bed helped to relax me. Now it's MH. I swear, I change their outfits so often it's maddening!

OH!  I also love that pretty flowered dress for your Spectra!  <3

And I am another one who *never* liked dolls as a child.  And only recently have I fallen for them, but right now it is just MH and my one tiny anthro BJD.    I think the MH appeal to me because they are artistic and very detailed.  They are fun to pose and a great size.  The different colors and styles keep it interesting for me!

And.. I bought a Dead Tired Ghoulia off eBay last night!  Even MIB she wasn't much more than some of the nude Ghoulias being sold.   I plan to make a custom doll with her.   Wish me lots of luck!!

That DT Abbey is just adorbs and I don't think we needed another Lala but I guess she needs a new doll to go with her snazzy new powder room. Or whatever. I can't seem to find original DT Lala anywhere in stores anymore so if this one has a nice face, I'll probably get her. Her little nightie is cute too.

I'm passing on any sort of playsets due to lack of space. xD
