Monster High thread number 2.2!

OK, I got a question for those of you with multiples of Ghoulia.   Does she have the same face shape in all the releases?  I like her first release face, but it looks like some of them are not the same.  One (maybe Dawn of the Dance?) looks like the face might be wider.   Or is that just the difference in her make-up?

Hmm...I'll have to check tonight for you. Now that you mention it, DotD does seem to have a slightly wider face...

P.S. Tomorrow is a big day for me. It took me a while time to come out to my immediate family about my pony collecting, and tomorrow I've decided it's time to introduce them to Monster High. I'm going to put a few dolls on display - Clawd, Gil, Frankie, Clawdeen, and probably Abbey, Toralei, and Ghoulia as well. Honestly, they shouldn't be surprised. I was playing with Barbie and Ken at a young age. That is, until mom threw Barbie away but told me she was "away in Africa on a missionary trip." Ken remained a while longer, until I started dressing him in drag. So really, they have no reason to freak out. HA!

One question for you:  Does the Phys Dead version have bangs?   I can't tell for sure in pics. 

Well, one more question actually... Do any of the Ghoulia versions look like they have wider faces than the original to you?  I know they all have different make-up.  But I mean just the face shape itself.

GB and DotD may be a touch wider.
PhysDead, if she has bangs, are pulled back into her ponytail. fearleader has extremely long ones, but they are pulled to the side as well. there are really only 2 with bangs, SS and DotD.

GB = Gloom Beach (she is the hardest to find...you know...other than SDCC...which I don't have)
It might just be an illusion of the makeup, but it almost seems like DT (Dead Tired) Ghoulia has a slightly thinner face.
I have a hard time telling if its the darker makeup that makes the face seem wider, or if its actually larger *shrug*

The only doll I know is notably diffrent from earlier releases is Schools out/wave 2 Lagoons who have wider lips :S

Is the black and grey Skull Shores Frankie widely available yet, or is she still slated for an April release in North America?

She's still not everywhere but is showing up in pockets. My closest Kmart just put a sticker out on the shelf that says "Monster High 4-13 $9.99" Another Kmart further away has a peg with a sticker that says "Monster High 4-13 $4.13" It's rather confusing! I just hope I can find one!!

true - but they are the super long ones like the Fearleader. GB and DotD have the short, blunt, thick bangs (that make me batty - lol)
