Thank you guys for all the help!  Shipping out of the country makes me anxious and I want everything to go as smoothly as possible lol

APPRECIATE IT!! :)

Ok, I neeeeever ship internationally.  It's just a personal thing, and it makes me nervous completing customs forms and worrying about packages getting places, etc.   :yikes:

I am, however, trying to ship something to Canada.  It's about 6 oz.  When I use the USPS shipping calculator (shipping from 62234), I'm getting a shipping estimate of $9.50 for first class international.  I'm guessing that would be right...

I do not buy stamps online (I just pay for exact shipping costs at the post office); however, I noticed I could fill out a customs form online.  I had a few questions (they are pretty simple but I just want to make sure I'm doing this right):

I used Form 2976...
A)  Contents:  Would "merchandise" be the correct category since it's a pony someone bought?
B) Contents description:  Would "plastic toy pony" be a sufficient description?
C)  AES Exemption:  I tried to read the descriptions of the options, so I'm guessing it's "NOEEI 30.37(a)
Value of each class of goods is $2,500 or less, when an export license is not required." --- since it's only worth $15??

Would I just print the form that has a bar code on it once I finish completing the online customs form (even if I'm not paying for shipping online)?  Do I then just bring that paper to the Post Office with the package and then they will help me with the rest?

OR do you think it'd just be easier for me to go to the Post Office and say, "I am trying to mail this item to Canada," and then hopefully they'd just give me the forms to fill out by hand?  haha

Thank you so much!!

Off Topic / Re: Local Wildlife

Let's see... nothing too overly unique, but we have some random midwest wildlife around our area:

-white tail deer
-raccoons
-opposums
-turkey
-owls & hawks & random other birds (but not huge one like some of yours - wow)
-Rabbits & squirrels
-Coyotes

THere are obviously more, but those are the main ones anyway :)

For Sale - For Auction / G1 Women's Socks (5 pair) for sale
« on: March 25, 2016, 12:06:24 PM »
I found these brand new socks and thought I'd see if anyone here wanted to buy them.  I actually have two sets of these.  There is Windy, Skydancer, two Moonstones, and another pony (can't figure out who exactly she is supposed to be???) in the pack.

I am asking $15 plus shipping/tracking for a pack of 5 socks.

At this time I can ONLY ship within the U.S. (Sorry!!)

Let me know if you have any questions :)

Thanks!

I don't download apps (except Cartwheel - gotta get those discounts)!  I guess I should say I don't download any additional social media based apps...  Although I probably should.  One of the classes I teach is Social Media Marketing.  I'm anticipating my kids will be teaching me the social medias as we move on to new units :P

Pony Corral / Re: How do you ''display'' your ponies? ♥
« on: February 15, 2016, 02:37:58 PM »
Mine are organized by generation - then I have them organized by year/series.  I keep all of the mail orders together, as well :)  I still need to redo my displays though...!

Can anyone help me find Mail Order Baby (from the mommy/baby MO set)??  She's the last one I need (except for a few more random dream beauties and petites)!

Whiskerz85 makes reproduction stands that fit all the rearing ponies. You may want to drop her a pm if you'd be interested in those vs. the actual real ones! :)  Good luck!

Me, too!  :)  lol

Maybe if you didn't want to have a booth with a poster, perhaps you would be able to do a panel to walk everyone through what you did, show pictures, the actual ponies, etc.?  I'm not sure if that's something you would be interested in, but it could be an alternative possibility perhaps! :)

Awesome work, by the way...I love reading the updates!

MLP Nirvana / Re: Up Up and Away

The Brazil one is the only Nirvana Up Up & Away I have, which makes me sad because I really love TAF Nirvana ponies and would be tempted to buy many more of them if I had the money! I do love their alternate poses.

Although I know PKW already linked you images, this is mine ;)

She's gorgeous!!  I adore the alternate pose on her.
