live in nwks and we have squirrels, birds- my favorite is the long tailed grackle at least until they start singing lol- foxes coyotes ducks hawks deer.

most random thing i've seen though? bunch of cows moseying down main street, apparently the sale barn had a broken fence for a while and no one noticed the cattle getting out.

OMG, I was going to mention something like this, but decided it wasn't "wild"life. Now that you mention it, though, I have encountered random herds of roving cattle in the suburbs -- not even out in the country where I actually live, but closer to Downtown Atlanta. O_o

There's a bit of wildlife around here, but moreso ranches. There's a pen with a small barn and horse the next road over and a little ways down from there is a longhorn ranch. There's deer in the forests of course. Sometimes alligators, lots of squirrels, coyotes, birds, raccoons, and on the rare occasion an armadillo.

I live in a spread out subdivision but there isn't a lot of wildlife. But once in a while at night I will hear coyotes howling and that's pretty cool. <3

Now the wildlife at work annoys me. I work at a prison and we have a bunch of Canadian geese that hand out here all year long because the inmates have a habit of feeding them so they don't fly south. They poop everywhere and it's disgusting. LOL

Ha-ha, I can second that, not only do they leave those poops EVERYWHERE but they are very mean to boot and hiss and chase you just when you're minding your own busines!!! I forgot about them, they are more like pests than wildlife habitat

Oooh yes. We have a lot of geese at my park and they go specifically to the walking paths to do their pooping.

Let's see... nothing too overly unique, but we have some random midwest wildlife around our area:

-white tail deer
-raccoons
-opposums
-turkey
-owls & hawks & random other birds (but not huge one like some of yours - wow)
-Rabbits & squirrels
-Coyotes

THere are obviously more, but those are the main ones anyway :)

I haven't really seen much lately.

I guess seeing some of the more colourful birds is always welcoming :)  I saw a few yellow ones around this time last year.

I don't get to see much. I don't even ever see squirrels where I live. I live near mountains so I think all the local wildlife hides there. Did see a rabbit the other night next to my car port as I was pulling in. Was a big one too.
