On my bookshelf for now, shoulder to shoulder, I am starting to get floating shelves to put them up and I will definitely have a couple of Shoe Stable Carrying Cases to keep my vulnerable ones out of the sunlight. I display the G3s, babies and my lone Flutter together because they are slimmer and shorter and I can fit more of them. It's also beneficial to place them together by pose. My sea ponies are in separate, decorated jars
I've had different approaches over the years depending on space. My preference would be to display every pony I own (g1) by year, lined up single file on narrow wall shelves... but at the moment I have sets and special ponies highlighted in cabinets:Spoilervisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginVersus:Spoilervisitors can't see pics , please register or login(had to say goodbye to this room during a remodel.)
I have bookshelves with glass doors for my ponies, 3 rows of ponies on each shelf (risers for the back row so all can be seen). I then arrange them by size and pose so I can fit the most ponies in the least amount of space. Here's part of one of my bookshelves as an example:visitors can't see pics , please register or login
Right now I have a "pony rainbow" going on, but I'll probably re-arrange them by year once I have them styled. It hard to tell what I actually have when they're displayed by color.
