Omg Elisto - that PONY CLUB DUFFLE BAG IS TO DIE FOR!! Can you imagine showing up to the Pony Fair with your stuff in that like a total baller? Haha! Love it!
haha, well, it actually is pretty small; less than a foot across the longest part. But it could make a cute purse

Yeah, whether it's a variant, error, or just faded, it's very pretty.

I don't know that just washing it would do that...I'm pretty sure I've hand washed one or two of the capes and they didn't fade at all. I know a washing machine isn't as gentle, but still...

Maybe the pink is just a stain from something else and not the original dye? So the whole thing faded/got bleached, but it also picked up a stain?

Yes, alcohol can remove marks without removing the factory paint, but I have found that it can sometimes remove some types of factory paint, like the kind used on Dream Beauties. I don't know if/how it affects gradients on G3s, but it might be worth testing it on a less-visible spot on the pony to see if it will affect it before trying it on the spot you want to remove.

I've read this has also been an issue for Native American/First Nations people who's real names include colors or animal names and FB's algorithms pick them up as fake. My understanding is that FB does have some kind of software for identifying potentially fake names, so it's probably a mix of that and others reporting accounts.

Well, I remember some Amazon reviews of MLP from 2009 or so that said MLP (G1) is not appropriate for kids because it scared the reviewer's kid, so I think some parents just don't seem to get that their child's reaction is not necessarily universal and different kids/families can handle different things.

I've been able to sunfade hair that's been stained from mildew, but if it's possible sun caused the hair to yellow in the first place, trying that might not be a good idea. Maybe you could test in on a small portion of his mane if you wanted to try it?

I like (making fun of) them! In all seriousness though, they're not my favorite ponies, but the eyelashes aren't why. To me, they're relatively boring ponies ( more pink princess themes?) and the eyelashes give them something interesting and unique, if unintentionally silly-looking. So I agree that the ones with the eyelashes removed look better, but I think I might like them less despite that.

I've been able to lessen the degree of difference on a few with head/body mismatch through sunfading, but not enough to really be worth doing. You could still see it easily.
