I don't have any of these figures yet but I am getting Big Mac for sure. I don't have a hot topic in my state but places like FYE, Toy Vault get the Funko Vinyls too and so does Toys R Us so they may eventually get it. Are these only for hot topic or will they move to other stores eventually?
They're HT exclusive for the first few months of their release, then they move on to other stores. I'm not sure how long that is though.

Aw... I have a soft spot for Big Mac and I've never been a fan of the blind bag and who knows if Hasbro will ever make a brushable.  Not a big Funko fan but... I went ahead and pre-ordered two with the codes. Fingers crossed for a chase. I expect to see some Rarity prototypes soon! Or else!

I think the big difference is that G3 Spike is an adult. G1/G4 Spike is a baby so the ponies are less inclined to take him seriously. So if G3 Spike seems more mature and knowledgeable that's because... he is. He's well over a thousand years old.
Purple and green is my all-time favorite color combo so I lean towards G1/G4 Spike because of that haha. G3 Spike makes me laugh though. If I had to choose a favorite it would be G1 Spike.

I still have to track down Rarity and Fluttershy of these... I can only ever find Pinkie. I may break and order them from Hasbrotoyshop. Glad to see they're making Applejack! She may make a decent (and cheaper) replacement for those still hunting for her Fashion Style doll.

I'll honestly give anything a read. When I was a kid I refused to read Harry Potter because I was a little jerk who thought it was "too popular".  I wish I had. I flash read the series my first year of college and enjoyed them well enough, but I think I would have liked them a lot more if I'd read them through the eyes of a child. Too critical as an adult. That said, I have no interest in John Green's books and that's a genre I actually like. I've read one he co-authored and was completely put off by his writing voice.

Fizzy - Green, unicorn. "Comic relief". A clumsy but fun-loving pony who likes making others laugh. Works as a server at a diner despite her clumsiness, and does very well!
Sparkler - Blue, unicorn. She's a rough-'n-tumble adventurer -- a gem hunter to be precise! She disappears for weeks at a time to go on gem-scouting missions. Sells whatever gems she's not hoarding to collectors for a living.
Tall Tales - Yellow, pegasus. As her name would suggest, she's a big talker prone to over-exaggerating, especially about herself and her skills. It gets her and her friends into trouble.
Lavender Lace - Purple, pegasus. A soft-spoken cosmetologist. She can sometimes be a bit of a diva but overall means well. Runs a beauty shop. Does not enjoy flying as the wind and speed messes up her 'do.
Princess Primrose - Pink, earth pony. She is the leader of the group -- a princess looking to live a life outside of the castle with her friends. A bit of a blank slate that the audience can project themselves onto.
Sugarberry - White, earth pony. A shy, hard working strawberry farmer. She is reluctant to join in on adventures with the rest of the girls. Tends to be the voice of reason.
I picked some ponies off the top of my head. I know a lot of these don't match up with canon depictions.
That was fun! I want to make a bunch of mane sixes now haha.

Oh wow! Oliver & Company is one of my all-time favorite Disney movies. I don't own anything you don't already have up there though. I used to have that ceramic Dodger and I really cherished it, but my mom tossed it in a move without my knowledge. I had no idea there were more in the set.

Oh! I see Daisy Paisley. She's one of my favorite G3s. Beautiful lot! Can't wait to see them all cleaned up.
