Granted! But your giant snake escapes his cage and swallows you whole in the middle of the night!

I wish I could live winter/spring in Texas and summer/fall in Northern Wisconsin

Wow! Thanks every pony! This certainly was helpful! I will be adding in my listings to contact me first before bidding especially if they have 0 feedback. I just can't deal with the frustration any more.

I wonder if enough of us petitioned ebay to restrict bidders with 0 feedback if they'd listen to use. For example, having anyone brand new that registers on ebay to take a multiple choice test that tests them on their knowledge and understanding of ebay policies. When they pass they are obviously aware of what they are doing. Then if someone with 0 feedback wins and doesn't pay within a reasonable amount of time, ban that person for a certain amount of time as punishment.

UGH. Frustration.

I have a question about ebay bidders with 0 feedback. I realize that everyone has to start somewhere but 75% of the sales I make to bidders with 0 feedback go unpaid and no one responds to my messages. I'm honestly sick and tired of dealing with this. I don't know if this is against eBay policy or not and if someone can direct me to a link I'd appreciate it b/c I can't find any info. Can I put in my listings that if you are a bidder with 0 feedback that you must contact me FIRST before bidding or your bid will be cancelled?

Or can anyone give any other kind of advice in dealing with these kinds of bidders? It's so immensely frustrating!

Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone! Thanks again for the kind remarks on my dress and how I look. I feel so darn flattered!!!     :blush:For those of you interested in the origins of my dress- I had it custom made by Grey Cat Designs about 6-7 years ago. I spent one summer mowing my elderly neighbors lawn and at the end of the summer she gave me $200 for helping her out. I really thought she didn't need to give me that much but she insisted. Turns out I FELL IN LOVE with this dress while perusing costumes and several websites and it cost exactly $200. (The chemise I bought separate off of ebay) The color/trim/lacing/beading/eyelets were all picked out by me and Grey Cat put it together after sending in my size measurements. Unfortunately, whoever (or is it whomever? lol) ran the company decided not to do her costumes anymore-I don't remember why- and passed on her designs to a different website. I am trying to find the other website to post here but it's been a LONG time since I was even there. If I manage to find it, I WILL post it here for all of you who are interested.  ;)

RVR- I'm thinking of going again this saturday. It's only supposed to be 82! If I do go again, I'll be solo and I'll check out Ophelia's =)

      So.... yesterday I attended the Bristol Renaissance Faire with family. As we're walking through the crowds of people I suddenly see big gray furry legs with bubbles on the hip walking the opposite direction. I practically screamed "DITZY DOO!"  (not my finest moment-lol)  *FYI-I said the other version of this name-the filter changed it on me* The guy wearing the costume  turned around and hurried back toward me while I shoved my camera at who-knows and told them they MUST  take a photo of me with him! After thanking him profusely for posing in a picture with me and apologizing for my less-than-civilized outburst, one of his friends handed me a note sealed with a bubble sticker.

Photo's anyone?

Off Topic / I started volunteering at an animal shelter today!
« on: July 06, 2012, 05:23:50 PM »
Oh my gosh! I know some of you know my background as far as going through a rough few months when I called off my engagement with a compulsive liar and all the drama that went with that. Anyhow, I am turning my life around to a positive path!

I really want to work at the SPCA in Dallas, TX. (I currently live in Wisconsin and am planning to move to TX) I have a TON of animal experience, it's just not in a formal professional setting. Anyhow, a friend of mine suggested I volunteer at the local animal shelter to gain some professional experience and help out my resume. I was like OH MY GOD YOU ARE A GENIUS.

I IMMEDIATELY filled out a volunteer form and mailed it in. I got a call pretty quick! Yesterday I went in for my interview, and today was my first day volunteering! I even brought some cat food/condo/pine shavings to donate.

I SHOULD HAVE DONE THIS SOONER!!!!! OH MY GOSH! I consider myself a hard-worker and did everything my trainer told me to and even offered to help extra and ask what else I could do to help out. Long story short. I cleaned cages/misc items for about 2 hours and then was told that if I finished all my work, they strongly encourage volunteers to PLAY WITH THE ANIMALS! Out of my 4 hour morning shift, I only worked for about 2 hours, and played with cats for the other 2 hours! It was soooooo awesome and such a MASSIVE stress relief.

This is such a HUGE GIGANTIC positive thing for me. Being able to spend so much time caring and playing with animals in need makes my stress just MELT away. I am so happy. I loved it so much (even the cleaning) that when I see the manager next, I'd like to express my interest in walking/caring for the dogs as well as the cats!

I am just so freakin' thrilled that I now have this wonderful way to feel useful while simultaneously helping my melting health and all these animals in need!

Pony Brag Arena / MOC Chief! My favorite USA boy pony!
« on: June 30, 2012, 06:06:49 PM »
So I was going through the "for sale" thread about a week back just for giggles. I'm really not in the market for anything as I am planning on moving and all of my finances are going to fund that journey (cross-country). But I was bored and looking for some entertainment. I came across a MOC Big Brother Chief. He is my FAVORITE USA BOY PONY EVER. I happened to be the first to ask about him ("ask" aka throw money at my computer screen until I got an answer =) lol and he arrived in the mail yesterday! He is my VERY FIRST MOC G1 My Little Pony. I've always wanted one, but they are so darn expensive! The fact that I FINALLY have a MOC, PLUS he is my favorite made it worth the money. I don't usually have anything to post in "brag" cuz I don't usually have anything to brag about. I couldn't help myself on this one! Sorry for the blurry, I took this by myself with my phone =)

Hi there! I'm sorry if this is being too forward, but I was wondering if after the 5 you complete you planned to do more? If you do- I would love a slot. If not, that's ok too! I just thought I'd ask just in case! Thanks! And I love your work!
