Nice PB! I'm a chicken to try to work with hosiery even though I love the look of a doll with panty-hose; so classy! Did they give you any grief? *tries to pull off her chicken feathers
Thanks They weren't too bad, but I decided to hand sew (I was too lazy to get the machine out) and some of my stitches weren't very even and there were a few holes that I had to fix. I'll definitely use a machine next time.

I made Katie some nude stockings from those mini stocking socks you can get for your feet (I am bad at describing these things ) visitors can't see pics , please register or loginThey're pretty basic and the left foot is a bit dodgy but they were good for practice.

I found a tutorial list on DOA once but it's hard to find through the search and some of the links were old. I'll see if I can find it again. beansproutmomo, your tumblr looks awesome

kCherry, That dress is awesome, it goes really well with her hair! Hmm, I've never made stockings before so this will be interesting.

I love the comparison pics Just to add some info on BJD prices, Resinsoul and Bobobie (they are sister companies) are on the lower end of the price spectrum. For example, MSD sized dolls (around 40-45cm tall) can be purchased for under $200 from Resinsoul/Bobobie, but from Fairyland, where they are called Minifees, they are around $400-$550 like crazykimochi mentioned. There are a great variety of designs, prices and sizes in the BJD world.

I made Evelyn a skirt, it was hand sewn so the stitching looks a little dodgy but it was my first proper skirt visitors can't see pics , please register or login

Oops/YAY! I won a resin Unoa Azurite from yahoo!Japan! I have been off-on wanting this doll for two years, ever since I got my resin Unoa Fluorite. I also got him less than half the price he goes for in the DoA, double-yay!
Congratulations You guys are waiting on some great stuff, I'm just waiting for eyes to arrive for my doll

You two are both so talented! The photos are beautiful and clear and the poses are so expressionful (that's totally a word) Cupid, your last photo especially was so fierce! But I really loved Kalma's various locations, so I voted for her. You both should be proud to have come this far though
