I like to wash them by hand, but the washer should be fine. If you are worried about bleeding you can even the color catcher sheets you put in the washer! There are lots of other methods too. My two favorites are the black and white versions of Frankie. Not entirely sure why though. I like Frankie a lot in general, but those two are definitely my favorites, maybe even top five of all the dolls. visitors can't see pics , please register or login

so today I finally found Catrine... Thay ALL had flaws, like tiny specs of paint all over the face, chipped eyes and skribbles around the eyebrows and eyes ... lol... This seems common but are all the flawed ones like this?
Youd think they would have better QC with an exclusive 
I find that if anything, the exclusive dolls seem to be poorer than all the others. It seems like the QC on them goes out the window. So annoying since you have to put out extra effort and sometimes pay more to find the darn things, only to have them be googly or sloppy. visitors can't see pics , please register or login

I end up using a lot of hair. I would say at least two MLP hanks. But, I leave the hair at a quarter length (9.5 inches), so I think it eats up more hair. I usually paint the scalp, let it sit while I tie the hair, and paint the face last, because you end up handling the head a LOT when you rehair and you end up wearing the paint off! If you aren't going to repaint the face, covering the paint in masking tape protects it very well, and it doesn't leave a sticky mess or take any of the paint off when you remove it. I like to use acrylic paints for everything, but I am sure you can get awesome results with watercolor pencils, I've never tried. I hope that helps! visitors can't see pics , please register or login

Has anyone seen the two new CAM add on packs with any regularity? Worcester had Catrine! I stopped by on a whim and they had her! Hooray! There were only two left, so she must have been out for a while. I am guess that more will show up tomorrow morning, since all the WalMarts around here seem to restock on Friday nights. I can't wait to read her journal-thing. She will be out soon, everyone. ugh! Its been a year and I still cant figure out how to make Operettas Spider Stand! He always finds a way to fall head first! Any tips? 
Heat some water to boiling let it sit for a few seconds and toss him in. The hot water will pop him back into his proper shape and he will stand just fine after that. I did it to my tippy guy and now I can't knock him over if I try. Just make sure there is enough water to cover him and to allow him to move around a bit. visitors can't see pics , please register or login

I seem to recall people saying that their Jinafires and Skelitas didn't have any glue in their heads.
I am customizing a Jinafire and she definitely had the sticky glue problem. Half of the glue in her head was rock hard and the other half was the sticky goo. visitors can't see pics , please register or login
