Update for all the Kiwi and Aussie collectors wanting to get their hands on the 35th Anniversary ponies without paying a fortune for overseas postage. Mighty Ape has found a supplier and should be stocking them around Feb/March next year!!!   I'll keep you ponies updated if I get any more info but for now lets celebrate!

Tracking a parcel of MLP ribbons through USPS and the tracking hasn't updated for almost a week. The last activity was saying it was out for delivery but nothing after that. It's going to a forwarding warehouse but they usually let me know when something arrives. Should I ask the seller to check up on things and see where the parcel is or can I do that myself (though I'm in New Zealand)?

Does anyone know the dimensions of the Brush n Grow ribbons? I know they’re longer and wider than normal mlp ribbons but I can’t find anything with their measurements.

I've recently been sorting my ponies and accessories so I can have everything correct for display and realised my Megans and Sundances don't have ribbons like I thought and had ticked off in my checklist. Does anyone have a really good photo of all ribbons and which version they go with? I'd love ones of all versions of Megan and Sundance.
I've already checked Google, My Little Wiki and pintrest but I can't find any good pictures/photos of MIB or really good quality of near mint condition or even photos of a childhood set.

So I finally managed to get shelves up to display my ponies but I’m not quite fixed on how I want to display them. How have you guys displayed yours? Randomly, in year sets, colours, grouping of favourites? Also do you display all their accessories or just their ribbons and any ‘big’ accessories like some of the babies have?
Any and all ideas welcome, I’ll be slowly working on my display over the next few weeks as I have to go back to work tomorrow. Very typical of me to leave things like this til the last minute.

Is anyone else at the stage when looking through photos of pony lots for sale that 90% of them you already have?  The ponies I'm sort of looking for aren't rare, hard to find or anything else, most of them are quite common but it seems that lots only have the extremely common ponies in them now days or I have too many ponies to start with. Sometimes I think it's easier to focus on getting accessories for the ponies I do have rather than go looking for new ponies. How do you guys feel about the status of your collection? Is every pony you see one you don't have or are you at the 'fun' middle or end stage that you're looking for ponies that are better found as individuals rather than in big lots?

So I bought a necklace I needed for a cosplay from a seller on Etsy, I needed it for 3 weeks time so I asked for an invoice to pay extra to attempt to get it on time. No response from seller, I asked a few times more and then got a response 3 days later saying it usually takes between 2-3 weeks from Russia to New Zealand, but no mention of being able to get faster shipping.
I kept messaging her to see if she had posted anything (it was meant to take 3-5 days to make) and all I got was a response was "soon". Then a week ago the tracking number was finally uploaded and it was put out for international departure and it hasn't moved since.
Anyone have experience with Russian Post? Can you tell me a bit about it?

One of my pony dreams has come true! From this Saturday people in Christchurch, New Zealand can see all of my ponies and playsets on display at The Toy Collector. I wish I had been given more room because I wanted to display all of the accessories and miscellaneous merchandise I had as well but I only managed to fit in playsets and ponies. Hey guys, I have finally gotten around to sorting out my big pile of ribbons and came up with a few questions. It's not how to tell the difference, I know that but it's about ribbons belonging to the baby ponies, Megan/s and Molly.
Do baby ponies get the same sized ribbons as adults? I have some in my collection that feel like authentic mlp ribbons but are narrower than the others.
Ribbons belonging to Megan and Molly, are they wider than normal ribbons and they have their pink ones while Sundance has a blue one? I have a few bits of info that I have no idea where it came from that says ribbons for Megan and Molly were wider, maybe almost like BnG ribbons? Is this fact or something I made up in my head?

So I'm putting my collection on display and I want a sort of interaction with the kiddies that go see it to make it a bit more exciting. I was thinking something on the lines of 'How many baby ponies are there?' but maybe not as boring?  Can you guys help me come up with some questions? I'm offering virtual lollypops to those how help and physical lollypops to the kiddies.  My collection is only G1 but I do have playsets, merch, accessories, pony wear and petite ponies (with a couple of their palysets), if that will help.

So I've finally gotten round to cleaning my lot of ribbons from honks ago and I'm having some trouble IDing them. Is there a good site anywhere that will let me see which ribbon goes with which pony? Or is it better to take photos and get help from all of you? I also have a number of purple ribbons that are much longer than any of the others (though the width seems to be the same). Who do they belong to? Photo with normal sized ribbons as reference: visitors can't see pics , please register or login

Hi guys, I've been away from the pony community for a while and was wondering if anyone had tips for dealing with G1 hair? I have a few that have really dry/frizzy hair and the last I remembered was a electric straightener with LOTS of conditioner would help.
Have any advances been made on this topic? I'd like to use the best method that gets the best results without having to get a lot of things especially for it.
Also is there a website or something that shows ponies MIB/MIP or with original hair styles? I like to get as authentic as possible but I'm not 100% sure on which ponies had curly or straight hair.
Any help much appreciated!

I guys, I was wondering what's the best way to clean those really dirty bags and such from the G1 era?
Like the pony purses (and other bags made from the same canvas-y material) and even the lace from the baby buggy. Would it be safe to but them in a lingerie bag and then on a gentle wash in the washing machine or would you clean them by hand? I have some with really bad dirt and grime but I think they'll clean up nice with minor stains but I don't know what the best method would be.
