I think I have identified: Nina, Aloha, Spring Bride? (Mine has blue eyes- the id guide I found said purple)

When you first start out collecting... you buy in lots... right? Well now I have a problem- how to get rid of my duplicates?

Here they are. I don't really have time before work to write up complete descriptions on each one, but please assume Fair to good condition on all of them, whit the common leg splotches.

Sea Magic:
1 of the blonds has a hair cut, both have no neck ball connector. No shoes standard leg issues. One looks complete with 2 pixies and the hair piece.
LLL: missing the under skirt, no shoes, leg issues, 2 pixies, has ball joint neck
Brunette- great legs, shirt & hat for the riding outfit, has neck joint. No Pixies
Brunette: Legg issues, neck joint present. No pixies

Regular Dolls:
LLL#1:No pixies, ball neck joint, good legs, no shoes
#2: 2 pixies, nice legs, ball neck joint, no shoes
#3: 3 pixies great legs, ball joint, no shoes
RavenWaves- 1 pixie, both shoes, 1 pixie petal, neck joint poor legs

Bottom row:
Ballerina: has neckjoint, minor leg issues
Sparkle pretty: cracked neck
Boy#1:1 pixies, poor legs, broken neck
Boy#2: 1 pixies, cracked neck, no shoes, Poor legs

I received a Lady Lovely Locks doll with tinsel in the hair. It is more like the G3/ pony Bride nasty kind. Could she be a re-hair?

The photos of the Sparkle pretty version I've seen don't appear to have glitter/tinsel.

While on the topic of Sparkle pretty I'm in need of the dress- what is it going to cost me?

I have probably 200+ unique colors/ shades/shapes.

I have yet to find a site with comprehensive data that includes ALL the colors/shades that I own. Including 7 unique shades of a yellow shooting star comb... just for an idea of my predicament.
Trying to properly identify them all would be a nightmare- 1 of each is fine with me.

Anyway I'm sure you all can imagine that I have amassed a HUGE spread of extras. Many of you have seen how crappy my camera is (this is probably admittedly due to operator error).

Lack of good photos, time and proper identification- how do I sell these?

I have thought about taking a down payment upfront then shipping them to the interested party and then upon receiving the unwanted ones back issuing a refund, but how would people (especially International) feel about having to pay for return shipping? Ultimately I would prefer trades, but in that situation how would you feel about paying the fully refundable payment?

I am just trying to protect myself and make sure my buyers know what they are getting.

Any other suggestions?

....yea, I know the fair is the best idea, but It's not going to happen this year...

I really want to complete my petite collection this year, but I'm NOT going to spend $30 each on it....

Have Magic Star & Sundrop (I think that is her name) ever been seen in molded tail versions? It seems like all the other playset ponies come in 2 versions- do the castle ones?

Anyone own the complete petite collection? I want to see a complete collection. How many are there (including variants)? I think I've counted 60+? There are even some with large vs small symbols.

Maybe I should ask the question here: Is charging a shipping (& handling) Fee of $5.65 for something that the PO actually charged me $3.36 to send an unreasonable price to charge a buyer?

How do you ever even break even on an item that sells for less than $12???? I mean listing on e-Bay in the first place is a big gamble unless I begin my listing at the price I paid for the pony, but I have found that they sell quicker (and usually for more, but sometimes less too)

Bottom line is you can't please everyone.

I was a bit disappointed that she is missing several plugs, but I know that is pretty common for Nirvanas. Did I do pretty good price wise? I know ultimately if I am happy with the price that is all that matters, but I still want your thoughts.

If you have photos of her MOC I'd love to see them.... I'm pretty sure that she should have pink hair like her US counterpart?

Has anyone ever shipped ponies to Italy?

I know it states that "Toys not made wholly of wood" are prohibited items....

For G1s if I put on the customs form "Vintage Collectible" would that flag more attention to the parcel?

If the parcel were stopped at customs and found to have prohibited items in it would the parcel be destroyed or Returned to Sender?

Would I the shipper be at fault or the buyer?

....If I let Italy bidders bid on my listings (which many end soon- so check the link in my siggy) potentially more $$$$$ for me....

I don't want to be illegal- any suggestions? Have you successfully shipped to Italy?
