Has anyone brought the 'Firefly and Book' Set? This one visitors can't see pics , please register or loginBecause I'm contemplating getting it because, you know Firefly! And of course I know it's Remco style mold for the pony which doesn't bug me, I think it's rather cute but just generally what's the actual quality of the pony? Like plastic, hair etc

Because I did something today, okay technically last night. My course has FB group because it's for the most part the easiest way to get information out, and late last night I find a message from one of my tutors going 'No Nursing today, I've got to be somewhere' and then there's a message from another tutor '9.30am for me'
And well, somehow I thought 'So does that mean timetables are altered and so we're all having this class at 9.30am because without my nursing class my group only have one lesson so that'd make sense'
And so this morning I get myself there, and a couple of other people, to be told 'No it's a 9.30 start for the other group with the lessons they have in the morning, you have Animal Psychology at 12.30pm'
So yeah, I didn't actually have to be on campus today until 12.30pm. I mean I used the extra time for some assignment research but just, ugh.
What about everypony else?

Hey, I'm still around I've been lurking from time to time and checking up and not really posting. I admit I've not been very pony focused lately, really out of the loop I will admit that straight off
I'm doing pretty well though, as some of you may know I went back to school last year to embark on a HND (Higher National Diploma) program in Animal Science, and the first year went really well and so I'm into my second year now, still haven't managed to get a paying job (part of the reason for the lack of pony focus) but I'm still volunteering at an animal shelter and over the summer I picked up some volunteer work at a local zoo. They have a walk through lemur enclosure and I'm posted in there and do various bits in there, talk to guests etc and it's been pretty fun

Hi, long time no post from me but I have a feeling someone can help me with this, I came across some interesting looking gloves on Tumblr that were sourced from TaoBao, and whilst I was able to do a Bing Translate of the page since Google wasn't working too great I'm still rather confused about a lot of what the page says http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a1z10.1.w4004-3997971889.2.R6wcOA&id=39276884514Not so sure if I'm looking to buy them just yet, since I have no idea how you even begin to use TaoBao but if someone could give me a hand with translation stuff especially if there's any 'size' information on there that'd be great

So I had this MLP hoody visitors can't see pics , please register or loginAnd well I just discovered the decal is pretty much totally ruined now, because it would appear it took a trip through the dryer when it wasn't meant to. I don't suppose there's much if any chance of me getting a replacement, as it's from 2011 and I don't think stock exists of it anymore. But if anyone could give me a hand I'd appreciate it

So, I quite often pick up second hand CDs
And yesterday I found a copy of the Pocahontas sountrack, and ripped it to my computer via itunes and then put it onto my ipod Then when playing on my ipod I found it was horribly distorted, I tried a different pair of headphones just to check it wasn't that. Then tried it just in my laptop both iTunes and Windows Media Player did the same thing. Really badly distorted crackly sound.
I've never had this happen with a CD before, I have no idea if it's the 'age' of the CD because I've picked up old cds before with no issue, and the CD itself doesn't seem as if it's damaged enough to cause it not to work properly.
Anyone else run into this?

So has anyone done anything sort of silly/had something sort of silly happen to them lately?
Because today a book landed on my laptop's keyboard and caused my Capslock key to get stuck, but then after much freaking out I managed to fix it with the aid of some tweezers.

So I deactivated my Pinterest account
I hadn't used it for ages, when a few months back I got an alert it was put into safe mode because apparently it had been accessed from another country, so I followed the password reset to deal with that and everything seemed fine. And it was like someone tried to spam one of my boards
Then I got another alert flag that it was in safemode again, because someone tried to get in.
So I've deactivated it for now, anyone else had this happen?

So, I've not really been that involved in MLP as of late.
I last year unemployed and got into a funk and ponies just didn't interest me, and I've been kind of lukewarm on G4 of late, due to there not really being much to grab me. And just locally there's almost no MLP on sale.
And whilst with G4 I've been generally interested/felt I had some idea what was going on, I know feel super out of the loop. I've even done so with FiM I just didn't seem to have the energy to watch the latest season of the show.
I hope I can get back into it a bit, I do have a lot of poor ponies that need sorting and cleaning and putting on shelves and I mean things have been a bit hetic since I'm back in education and sort of still in the adjusting phase.

So a like in the last week I was poking around Ebay and found an auction going for a Ice Crystal, I did think about bidding as at the time the bids were really low but didn't really have any disposable income to try it out with.
But I kept an eye on the auction just for the sake of it, and looked after it closed. He went for 40 GBP. Isn't that really low for a Mountain Boy? Let alone Ice Crystal?

So, anyone on flight rising? I know they had an open signup a few weeks ago which I managed to get in on, but I have no idea when they're doing it again For anyone that doesn't know it's sort of a pet site, but with dragons and with several different breeds and you basically get to breed dragons and you can get all these really cool colours and get 'genes' which give you interesting patterns and stuff and it's pretty fun Here's me http://flightrising.com/main.php?p=lair&tab=userpage&id=31752

Hey, so you may remember a few years back I made a really big pony slang/terms list which I posted on my pony collecting blog. And the last time I think I really updated it was just at the start of the G4/FiM line and so I'm wondering if now it's time for an update The list as it stands is posted here http://starryponies.wordpress.com/pony-slangterms/ so if anyone has any suggestions for what to add please do c:
