Time to pick a host pony! I've got some ideas, I'm sure you have too! I'm thinking we could maybe narrow the pool to someone summer themed again- like one of the Summer Wing Ponies (go Little Flitter!) or perhaps a tropical pony! I'd love to see art and customs of these... thoughts?

But think how cool a group of Cool Breezes would look! That was actually what started the "host pony," when we wanted to see how many Mimics we could get in one picture together. It just sort of turned into a host pony.
My Cool Breeze would not mind having an adventure- she doesn't have wings anymore, but she's ok with that.
Honestly, though, I can go for any of these. I have a great picture of Lady Flutter and some of her little friends, I might bring it anyway. It's a fun shot!

So I recently got into accessories/backcards/books/stickers and merch so if any of you guys and gals have extras for sale or trade please bring it. I am also a huge fan of 80s and 90s stickers esp sandylion and hallmark if anyone has them laying around.

PQ, since you will probably be hosting again, is there anything you need us to bring? Toilet paper? Paper towels, light bulbs? It would be nice if you didn't have to bear all the cost of hosting- so if you think of anything that people could bring or do to help- printing name tags, showing up early to help set up... (I'm not saying I'm the best choice for these, since I'm chronically late, but I know others would like to help!)

Oh, hey- if someone is looking for a sort of easy thing to bring, the Sweet & Sour Pork is really tasty over rice. It's also good without it, but if someone wants to bring a cooker full of rice (yup, just plain boring rice) that might be nice. Is rice gluten-free?

I just want to be sure I'm making the right thing- the item for the craft/custom/art contest is supposed to be of Seabreeze, right? Are there any sort of rules on this- like if I make something with all the tropical ponies on it, is it still acceptable for the contest, or is it just really cool? I still haven't decided what I'm making, but I'm making SOMETHING. Possibly multiple somethings, but I'm only entering one of those somethings into the contest.

It will be played using a marker or highlighter, so it doesn't require good handwriting. I'm really proud of myself for not over-complicating it. I'm not promising anything for the future, but this one time, this one year, it won't be super intense. And you can use it to learn a little about Aurora's Pony Room without having to journey all the way to Almost Iowa!
I'm also thinking of bringing a drink- a juice drink of some kind. Feel free to add me to the list for drinks.

II) Meet swag: Tropical Ponies ribbon keychains and/or lanyards! I'm thinking of commissioning Arena member rosesare to make some for our meet- who would be interested? They are way nice!
III) Mystery Swap: How do we feel about it? The Dice Game is such a popular gift swappy game, I'm wondering if we should forgo the Mystery Swap in favor of a new activity/game. Thoughts?

Less than a month to go, and I have classes starting two weeks beforehand. I hope I'll be able to miss class that day - I've signed up for a Saturday class; didn't even think about the meet when I did it a bit ago - I got the last seat available. Now I just need to see if the math class I want opens up....

It might also depend who they are going to- they might be more willing to part with a school donation--- though they might be happy spreading the manga love, too. (The blue-haired girl who was with me last year is one of the "nephews," so not little kids.)

They came pretty messed up inside and so far nothing I've tried had been able to get it all out.... i just dont want to start the custom only to have them corrupt from the inside. Sorry, not really interested in any of those. My niece (she's 5) likes MH, I'll see if she is coming. I don't know which ones she doesn't have, so I would only buy them at very cheap prices- I am not your target market here!

Since I'm already bringing carrots and dip, I can grab hummus and pretzel chips too for the pre snack in :) anyone have a certain flavor hummus they prefer? I don't eat it lol.

I'll be sure that the fruit I bring is good for snacking, though I don't know exactly what I'm bringing yet. I think we'll be ok without another main dish- there are two of them, and lots of snacks. Plus cake- I mean, who really wants honest food when there's cake?

Yes, they can be made bigger. Try using an awl. :) (Or just a large safety pin, and insert gently)

I grabbed plastic cups yesterday that ok? And then chips. I was going to figure out what to bring. I just have way too much 3 totes and a suit case full of all the funko. Anyone looking for certain g4 stuff not the new stuff or funko?

very excited for tomorrow. a friend of mine is coming with me, but we won't be staying for super long. probably 10:30 to noon.
I'm still bringing the veggie tray but we can't stay for games and lunch. my sister just got a new puppy, and they are planning to come over and meet our dog.
(company picnic got cancelled) but puppies still trump ponies. but i'm glad i can still make it, for however long.
