Target put out a few more things today- Wysteria! (It's odd that they put out her first- our Target doesn't have the glittery version of Pinkie yet)

It also had the brushable size black hair pinkie with the purse-playset. I had heard that it was arriving, but hadn't actually seen it yet.

I JUST LOVE!! that pinkie in the outfit :-) my only wonder is if it will have the same bleed problem into the plastic like the Halloween G3's with the cat ears and the witch hat/cap (can't recall their names) ... thinking it will but I really like how they did that dress = cool template for other G4 fashion ideas.
So happy that BOTH wisteria and pinkie are glittery !!! OK = where is Minty??

I agree, even through we have target in canada, we don't get the same toyline that the US stores do. It's the exact same as TRU stores, the Canadian website has 16 items vs the US site having 100+...
I'm hoping there's members on here that would grab some and sell them in the arena so we don't have to pay crazy ebay prices :) Keeping fingers crossed

Maybe a member can help you out :) Unfortunately, these "exclusive" deals robs other of getting ponies. I was so angry during G2 where Europe got all the great ponies, and I couldn't buy them :( However there are many users who will probably offer to pick this up for you.

I will gladly go buy for members and ship to wherever = dunno if we can make an arrangement like how Clipper could meet up with folks at the fair = UK con is coming up if we can get a "point person" for delivery and it would be great to know if there are any other group orders that may be possible if several members of a country are close enough to meet-up but yah = no problem on grabbing what I can and just selling at cost to cover the mail and stuff

Actually, there has been Skywishes, Petal Blossom, and Rainbow Flash previously. Though all three of those were international exclusives (as G4) to begin with and only Petal Blossom has been released in the US (as G4).

So excited! *happy dance* I'll definitely be picking these up when I get the chance. More ponies to add to the sparkle pony army! Too bad Target is 45 minutes away, so it might be a bit before I get them.
This is definitely giving me renewed hope that some of the other ponies we've been seeing lately will actually get releases. (Minty!!)

Although... Wysteria doesn't have any black.
I think it would be cool if Hasbro expanded the Pinkie Pie's Boutique black/white/punkish look to a few more ponies- wouldn't Goth Rarity be cool ? (although I'm sure that won't happen given that it would have made way more sense from a personality perspective to have her paired with the boutique)
Now that I have Pinkie's nifty goth/punk outfit- it might be neat to combine that outfit with the black haired Pinkie- and maybe add a bit of eyeliner? Lol

Agreed. I was reeeeeally hoping they might stop with the US exclusives already (after the 3 Pinkies in this line) so we might see Wysteria over here. What a disappointment. I'm kind of sick of having to pay through the nose to import ponies or just not get them, as we miss out on US exclusives and EU-exclusives (despite being part of the EU...). I know there are lots of lovely people here who will be willing to help us poor non-Americans get them but it still sucks to have to go to all the hassle and cost of importing when it really wouldn't hurt them to just give us a wide release.

Thank you in advance to all the lovely Arena members who have already offered to help people get these. I'm glad to know this community is generous enough to make up for Hasbro's poor distribution.

(Y'all can have her if you promise to give us Star Swirl and Rainbow Flash and the wave 2 blind bags and all the rest in exchange, okay?)

All the early blindbag waves didn't get here either. It was a very select bunch of countries who got them. Starswirl and Rainbow Flash were also released a long time ago. I don't think you can still find them in stores. Either way, there are far more USA exclusives. These days i have to import nearly everything.

Oh no, are you 100% sure of this?? I've always noticed the Canadian TRU website showed a lot less, but we got the exclusives from them. I am going to be amazingly sad if we don't get Target exclusive ponies in Canada. It's 95% of the reason I was so excited they're bringing their stores here.

Looks like the language on the box is printed in English, French and Spanish- so I'm sure you are right that these will see an international release.

Actually- $8 seems pretty reasonable for a glitter pony with a new design and packaging.
I did however hesitate at the brushable that comes with a purse- $22! I guess for that pony I am glad I bought on Taobao. I don't need a tacky purse and cardboard furniture. Given that prices are usually higher for pony stuffs on the other side of the pond- makes me wonder what the purse set will cost in France and the UK.

To everyone worrying about the exclusivity - the entire Target "Canterlot" exclusive line as well as several other Target exclusive items went on to be sold in other countries. The exclusivity of this line is relevant only to the US [and sometimes Aus] market. Tesco in the UK carried all of the Target Canterlot line and every single Canterlot release has been discovered in some way in Canada as well.
In addition - unfortunately when you have multiple subsidiaries this is how it works. Yup its "unfair" the US gets these exclusives...but Europe and Aus have also had exclusives which the US/Canada has never seen which is equally "unfair". Thank goodness for the Arena where we can try to help one another get these exclusive to countries where they are not released :)

I went to Target today in hope of seeing Wysteria. Didn't see either her or the new Pinkie line. But I did see the masked ponies and got a Sunset Shimmer for $4. I also noticed that several of the larger/pricier sets were on clearance. Must be making room for the new stuff!

Not sure what the DCPI numbers are- the car has a SKU# of 6 5356988724 9, the number on the receipt is 0866021855.
So maybe one of those?
For Wysteria- I think you can read the DCPI # in this picture ? (it sounds like that is the Target stocking number)

The purse PP rang up for 19.99 so it looks like target pricing will vary a bit from store to store. Also saw the SA/Cadance FS, talking cadance and train on clearance.
And just to add to the new sightings this past weekend I saw the new Alicorn TS castle at TJ Maxx for 19.99, weird it's at a discounter but it was there on the shelf.

Quick scouting report from Orlando... just got back from Target and found the Fashion Style size Pinkie Pie (the one wearing the dress and sparkly shoes) and the black purse playset with the brushable size Pinkie. I snagged the former and passed on the latter. $20 is just too much for that, IMO. No sign of Wysteria or glittery Pinkie yet.

I know- she is actually significantly more expensive than the FS Pinkie that comes in a purse. A crappy kid's purse just doesn't justify the huge price for such a small pony. That is one pony I was glad I nabbed on Taobao.

Very true, but that took a long time. The FS Cadance/Shining Armor pack hasn't shown up yet, nor have the blind bag rainbow collection or crystal princess 3-pack. Precedence has been set with the Canterlot line so seeing further Target exclusives up here eventually is possible, but...

Well, I called a friend of mine tonight after emailing him pictures of all the new Target exclusives. My nearest Target is half an hour away. My friend has a Target down the street from his house. He's going to be stalking Target for me. He's going to run in there tomorrow to check. I'll be going to his place on the 3rd before we head out to BABW. I hope he finds something at Target by then. If not I'll be back at his place on the 14th. Target should have them out by then... I hope.

I just noticed that set is on clearance at my local targets, think it was around 11 bucks. I don't care for the dropping glitter myself, but they are still available.

Well...that's mildly reassuring. Just gotta cross my fingers that my nearest Tesco somehow gets rid of all the CE brushables that have been gathering dust for months and months >.< At least domestic postage is cheaper than international postage.
Regarding exclusives - It wouldn't be so unfair if all of Europe got the European exclusives :( So far it seems only a few countries get them.

I'm sorry but that really depends on the country. Over here nearly nothing of the canterlot line arrived. We also didn't get fashion style shining armor and well...most exclusives. It also takes a long time, so you really have no clue what few items will get released here. One could just as well be waiting for nothing. It's also not just some of these store exclusives that are the problem. So far i haven't found any plushies or mini pony packs. All things funko, hot topic, comic book and trading Card related are import too of course. I don't think it is wierd when people get frustrated when nearly nothing gets here. I would gladly trade those 5 euro-exclusives for all the stuff that never gets here.

@Malicieuse - unfortunately I did mention the UK and Canada as getting the lines not other countries. There is some variety to who and what other countries get as you say. I am not denying that it is understandably frustrating just that I read both sides being equally frustrated on the very nature of "exclusives". Heck even for those in the US if you are not close to a Target and if the items are never listed for sale online, then I imagine a store exclusive is as annoying for them as it us for those of us outwith the US. All I am saying its that that's unfortunately what happens when you have a world wide brand with different Hasbros and retailers making different decisions. While you would happily trade the exclusives which did not make it to the US you may find some in the US would say the opposite. I have to say though, I am not a fan of this stylistic direction they're going in. It's very...gothy? Hot Topic-esque? It's just weird to be seeing so much black on a My Little Pony product. Even the sparkly features (was this to imitate blindbags?) seem strange and uncute to me.

Yes, I've been waiting for the BB rainbow collection to show up at Superstore or someplace, but I wonder now if it might just be lost to the void now that Target itself is here... probably Superstore won't get any of their exclusives anymore. Sunset Shimmer and that pack with miss Cake and Twirly Treats. It's annoying to have to keep on hearing about Starswirl or Skywishes. Two ponies who have been out of stores for ages now. The only exclusive i might still be able to find is the regular Ploomette. So it's not like i got much to trade. X-X

well my Targets are sold out of sparkle Wysteria and Pinkie. They also want 8.99 for them. But they have the fashion style, car, and purse version of pinkie. They also have the masked releases but no Sunset Shimmer.

It's looking like the prices vary from Target to Target. At mine- the car (with FS Goth pinkie) was $27.99. The FS Pinkie with two color pink hair and the black outfit- came in a cardboard purse and was $16.99.
The little black stripe pinkie that comes with a purse and "playset" was $22, and the sparkly ponies were $7.99.

She comes packaged with Twilight but i think they are about the same price as a single pony. 6-8€ i believe. : ) Also, i know how you feel. USA packages almost always get hit by customs these days. O_o

Well if it wasn't for exclusives I doubt we would even get these clear ponies. I believe these exclusive runs are where they test out how customers will recieve new ideas. Smaller runs are less risky for something new. They might not have had store exclusives back in the G1 days but they had the mail orders instead.

Boo I left Seattle and the good stuff came out. My friend was on the phone with a target Rep for 20mins yesterday and there was nothing within the vicinity of new York city. You'd think one of the most populous cities will get something, but nope. How disappointing!

Found a Target today... only boutique item was the purse for $20, no sign of the rest, and all I was maybe interested in getting was Wysteria. (and blind bags, but yeah, I don't think I'm ever seeing those actually appear in stores again.) But there was a cute little girl, 9 or 10 or something, who was explaining to her very patient family how the the EQG dolls had no real feet, and the "DVD out now" label was "a lie" (direct quote), and she'd seen pictures of someone painting the Design-a-Luna as Cadance, and lots more. Then I went to Toys R Us to see what they had and she was there too! Fun times. Uh, but, yeah, not much to see on the Pinkie Pie's Boutique front, just the ridiculously overpriced purse.

Hopefully me Target get these and other ponies soon, the shelves are llooking really sad lately. Only blind bags and Funrise mini plushies seem to be re-stocked. Love the fashion stlye one that comes with the car but not sure I have room for that car.

Not sure what the DCPI numbers are- the car has a SKU# of 6 5356988724 9, the number on the receipt is 0866021855.

For Wysteria- I think you can read the DCPI # in this picture ? (it sounds like that is the Target stocking number)

Unfortunately- I removed the packaging from the big purse Pinkie, didn't buy the little purse pinkie because it was expensive- and haven't seen the sparkly pinkie in the store yet- but if I do I'll snap a pic of the store stocking number :)
The DCPI is the 9-digit number on the receipt and on the label on the shelf. I think you misread your receipt and FS Pinkie Pie with car is DCPI 086-02-1855, UPC 6 53569 88724 9 (the last digit on the UPC is a checksum and that does verify OK).
