I haven't been around here in years since I've moved on to doll collecting. I decided it's finally time to sell what's left of my G4 collection (minus my Fluttershy army) since I'm running out of display room. All these have been in my collection (I'm the first owner on them) displayed on a shelf away from sunlight.

I might be open to offers, especially if anyone is buying multiples. I'm going to a doll convention next month and am hoping to rehome these before then.

I accept Paypal only, and I only ship within the US. Free shipping on purchases of $20 or more. If you'd like additional photos of any of them, just let me know and I'll get them.

Pony Corral / Price check on G4 collection
« on: May 22, 2019, 04:11:02 PM »
So I haven't been around in quite some time (I moved onto dolls) and now that I don't have room for my ponies, I figured I'd sell everything except my Fluttershy army. But since it's been so long since I bought any ponies, I have no idea what anything's worth. So please help me out with pricing these. Sorry if it's in the wrong section, btw. It's been years since I posted here for a price check. I guess I really need to know which ones are worth more than what they originally retailed for.

These are the dolls, clothes & accessories I have for sale. I'm running out of room, so my prices are pretty low to reflect that. I just want to find new homes for this stuff. I only accept Paypal. Please send it via Goods and Services. I can do holds for up to a week, but be sure to let me know if you change you mind before then. I ship within the US only. I will sell to people from other countries as long as you have a US mailing address I can send your package to. I typically ship twice a week on Wednesday and Saturday.

The following dolls are from my personal collection. I'm not as in love with EAH as I used to be, so I'm cutting my collection in half. Now I want to find good homes for my dolls. I bought every one as soon as they came out, so no lower-budget re-release versions. They all come with everything pictured, including the stand if you want it. Some of them have been customized just a bit. Mostly I like to add paint to the accessories. Lizzie's hair is down because her hair looked awful right out of the box and I had to boil wash her hair to fix it. I didn't have the patience to try and put her heart bun in. I will sell all these dolls as is for now, but if they don't sell after a week or two, I'll likely sell the dolls and their clothes separately. But for now, I want to give anyone a chance to get some of the sig dolls that they might not have complete, or close to complete.

This rug is also folded in half for the photo. It measures 11" x 7.25"

Pullip:

12mm Custom Resin Eye Chips: $3 a pair, $2 a pair if you buy 5 or more

I made these to work with the older Pullip eye mechs, but they'll work ok with the new ones, there will just be a .5mm gap around the edges since the newer Pullips, including MIOs, all have 13mm eyes. I believe all the others (Dal, Taeyang & Isul) all have 12mm eyes. I created these eyes using photos, resin, glue and some white cardboard photo frames (I used them for the backing) to make them. I also coated the backs and sides in varnish. This was my very first attempt at making eye chips, so they're not perfect. But none have any major flaws like bubbles or cracks. Sorry about the not so great photos. It's been overcast and it's really hard to get a good photo without the shine covering the whole chip. I will try to get better photos as soon as we get a nice day. But in the meantime, if anyone wants to see any particular pair better, I can try to get a better photo. I've numbered all the pairs in the photos and they're in small baggies with the matching numbers. I figured with this many pairs, using numbers makes more sense than giving them names. The next batch I make won't have nearly so many colors.

She's nearly complete, just missing her purse & stand. I can include the white metal stand I used in the photo with her, though. One of her stockings has a few small holes in it near the ankle from her shoe. After that happened, I cut the straps off both shoes. I also did this because they were a pain to remove and I was afraid of breaking her ankle joint.

Misc Craft Supplies:

These are the various charms and cabochons I have extras of. They're all .25 each except the gummy bears, which are .50 each. I bought them for doll jewelry and to use in making custom outfit decorations and headband decor. But they can also be used in Decoden and scrapbooking. Also, at the bottom of the photo are some plastic pearl ribbon sliders. I have a bunch, so I'll sell the 10 for $1 or 30 for $2. They make awesome belt buckles for custom doll belts.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

While I'm mostly just looking to sell, I may be willing to trade for a few different things.

- Barbie clothes - I'm mostly looking for newer Barbie clothes (like from the last 15 or so years) just show me what you have. I'm kind of picky and I already have a lot of Barbie clothes, so it's really just a small chance I'll trade. I'm usually up for partial trades, though.

- Pullip, Dal, Isul, Taeyang dolls, wigs, clothes, shoes, eye chips - Not going to list any specific wants, just show me what you have.

- Funko Dorbz Deadpool & Princess Bubblegum

- Lego Minifigure Unicorn Girl

Tsum Tsums:
- Blind Bag Marie with Bed
- Blind Bag Cinderella with Castle
- Rapunzel plush (I have no idea if there are different sizes, but I just want a small one)

Price Check Archives / PC G1 & G4 ponies
« on: November 15, 2015, 02:24:15 PM »
Hi. I'm getting rid of a large chunk of my collection and I wanted to know what the current going rate is for the ponies I'm looking to find new homes for. All of them are loose as I don't collect MIB.

G1:
Applejack - Very good condition with silky hair and no paint rubs, stains or stray marks on her
Baby Cuddles - No paint rubs, hair is still very pink. The only flaws are that she has a rattle if you shake her (loose tail washer?) and she's missing a few hair plugs (I think, there's holes below her mane)
Baby Glory - Her paint and glitter look really good. She's a bit of an off-white color and her hair is slightly dry, but still looks good.
Baby Lickety Split - She has a slight rub on her tooth, a tiny spot of missing paint on one symbol, ink under her feet and slightly dry (though still pink) hair. But her eyes look great and her blush looks perfect.
Dancing Butterflies - No paint rubs and nice hair that's only slightly dry.

G4:
Apple Bloom (from the Pony School Pals set)
Applejack (wave 1 with bangs wearing the green cowboy hat from a later single release)
Cheerilee (with bangs)
Cherry Berry
Cherry Pie
Daisy Dreams (International exclusive version with bangs)
Diamond Rose (slight hair cut)
Feathermay
Honey Rays (without wings)
Lily Blossom (original release)
Lulu Luck
Lyrica Lilac
Nurse Redheart
Princess Cadance
Princess Twilight Sparkle
Rainbow Dash (slight hair cut, but bangs are in tact)
Rarity
Scootaloo (Slight hair trim)
Shining Armor
Silver Spoon
Skywishes (Iternational exclusive version)
Snowcatcher
Sunset Shimmer
Sweetie Drops
Sweetie Swirl
Twinkleshine
Twist

Price Check Archives / I need a few PCs (All four Gens)
« on: December 13, 2014, 12:25:01 PM »
So I've decided my room looks too much like a toy store, so I'm going to thin out some of my collection. I'll just need some help with pricing. I still need to go through my G1s to see which ones I'm willing to let go of, but I figured I'd start first with my G4s and a few other things.

First up would be my Petites:
visitors can't see pics , please register or login

Obviously, they're not in great condition. Well, the first two are in good shape, but the pearly ones have a lot of the paint rubbed off, same with the blue one with yellow hair.

Next up is my fashion style ponies: (All are loose since I'm not a MIB collector)
- Black Tie Pinkie Pie - she's the Target exclusive FS Pinkie in the black & pink dress with the black headband. She's missing her shoes.
- Luna - she's the first version with glitter on her horn and cutie mark from the Target exclusive set with Celestia. She doesn't have any of her accessories and I've removed the tinsel.
- Twilight - she's the original release version. I don't have any of her accessories and she's had a slight haircut.
- Fluttershy - original release and has all her accessories except for the basket & bunny. Her hair's been slightly trimmed in the front because she came with a huge knot in her hair that I had no choice but to cut out. It's maybe an inch shorter, probably less. It's been a long time since I did it, so I don't remember how much I cut exactly.
- Rarity - first release. She's complete as far as I know.
- Rainbow Dash - She doesn't have any of her accessories and has her hair cut into a bob.
- Pinkie Pie - original release. She has all her accessories.
- SDCC Bubbles - I don't have her box. I haven't decided to sell for sure, but I figured I'd include her in the price check.

I can get photos of them if it will make a difference, I just can't today since I'm watching my toddler niece and it's too hard to set up and take photos with her around.

Also, I need prices on the following:

- Quick Twilight Sparkle (loose)
- Funko Pop! Fluttershy
- Ploomette (international release with normal pegasus wings)
- Luna (regular pegasus size with glittery symbols from Target. She has her tinsel removed)
- Sweetie Swirl

The Dollhouse / Fixing really badly tangled, frizzy doll hair?

So I recently got Disney Animator's Collection Rapunzel and her hair is awful. I want to try to get it as close to its original condition as possible. I kept hearing about using fabric softener, so I tried that first. I filled the sink with a litter water and a lot of fabric softener. I let her soak for like 3 hours and rinsed it out, but her hair hasn't improved much at all. Does it take multiple treatments? Also, is there something else I could try? What about conditioner? I have like a quarter of a bottle of Aussie Moist conditioner and a new bottle of Aussie Hair Insurance leave-in conditioner. Would either of those make a difference? I've used boiling water to straighten frizzy hair on EAH dolls, but I don't know if it will work as well on bigger dolls. Any help with this would be appreciated.

Trader & Shipping Support / Paypal account locked?
« on: May 14, 2014, 08:57:01 PM »
I just tried to purchase something on Etsy and when I entered my Paypal password, it said my account was locked and to visit the help center for more info. I then went to Paypal's site and tried to log in directly, and it wouldn't let me log in. It didn't give any specific error, it just said to check that my email and password were correct (they were) and to try again. I haven't received any emails from Paypal saying they locked my account. The last email I got from Paypal was to let me know that I received money from someone yesterday. I had purchased some DS games from a new eBay seller (0 feedback) and they arrived postage due in a mangled envelope. Yep, three game cartridges were sent in a plain, white paper envelope with one stamp. >_< They apologized and agreed to refund me $16, which was a little less than half of what I paid for the games. Well, instead of doing a partial refund, they just sent me $16 as a gift. I'm guessing they didn't know how to do a partial refund. I don't know if this is why they locked my account, but that's all I can think of. Why wouldn't Paypal have sent me an email telling me what was going on? I'm really worried. I checked my spam folder in my email just in case and while there were several emails claiming to be from Paypal, they all looked to be typical phishing scams.

Trader & Shipping Support / When is a package considered lost?
« on: April 02, 2014, 10:43:53 AM »
I bought an Ever After High doll off of eBay back on the 21st of March, and according to eBay the estimated delivery is Thu. Mar. 27 - Mon. Mar. 31, which has obviously passed. Well, when I check tracking, the USPS site has the expected delivery day as Tuesday, March 25, 2014, which, again is passed. The tracking makes it look like it never left Maryland, where it was shipped from. The last scan on the package was that it arrived at a sort facility on March 23rd. So last weekend, I contacted the seller and said I was worried it may be lost and asked them to check on it. They messaged me back on Monday and said the people at the post office claimed it was still going to be delivered and to give it a few more days and attached a print out of the tracking, which was supposed to be more current than the online one, but didn't show anything different than the online tracking. So pretty much, my question is how long do I have to wait before I can file a claim? I'm pretty sure there's no way I'm getting my doll now since it's been like 10 days since it was last scanned and I've never had a package take that long to get to me that wasn't coming from overseas. I'd rather just get my money back so I can hopefully find a replacement for around the same price.

Trader & Shipping Support / Need eBay help (non-MLP purchase)
« on: March 11, 2014, 02:17:18 PM »
I bought a replacement charger for my son's 3DS off eBay from a US seller and when I got it, I discovered it was a counterfeit charger, which looks to be a cheap Chinese knock-off. The Nintendo branding that's on my 3DS charger is missing from this one (there's an oval shape where the logo should be) and it's also missing the UL certification logo, which makes me think it could start a fire if I plug it in. Besides that, it's lighter and feels cheaper, it rattles and the cord is really short, like half as long as the real one, making it not useful anyway. Oh, and the description said: "This item is brand new and factory sealed." It wasn't. It came loose with no packaging at all. The cord was tied up with a twist tie, but that was it.

So I contacted the seller and mentioned everything above and they said to send it back for a refund (they didn't say if the shipping would be refunded) and mentioned that I "may" be charged a 15% restock fee. Of course, I'm not happy with that response. I don't feel like I should have to pay to ship the charger back to them or pay a restocking fee when they hid the fact that it was a fake. And since it wasn't new and factory sealed, isn't this a case of item not as described? I think a restock fee is only ok if I decided to change my mind, which isn't the case.

So should I just file a case with eBay? I've never done one so I have no idea what to expect. In the past when I've contacted a seller with an issue, they just sent a replacement or refunded me, depending on the circumstance. Really, I didn't pay a lot for it and I already ordered a replacement (this time from Amazon because I know they'll back me if I'm sent a fake) but it's just that I feel like people shouldn't be selling fake stuff like this. The way they photographed the charger made it so you couldn't see the missing Nintendo logo and you also couldn't tell the the cord length was only about half the length of a real one.

Price Check Archives / PC: SDCC Funkos & 2011 SDCC Pony
« on: March 02, 2014, 11:46:12 AM »
So as I'm running out of room for my collections, I'm slowly selling some of my stuff to make room. I need to know what a fair price would be for the two translucent SDCC Funkos from Amazon and the 2011 SDCC Pony. All of them are loose and I don't have the boxes because they were part of my personal collection and I'm not a MIB collector.

The Dollhouse / Zelfs Trading/Selling thread
« on: February 06, 2014, 08:34:14 AM »
Here's a thread for Zelf collectors to post their extra Lil' Zelfs along with their want lists. This way, we won't clog up the Zelfs discussion thread with trade talk. I was mostly thinking this thread would be useful to trade the blind packed Lil' Zelfs, but I think it would also be nice if like someone is looking for particular medium or large Zelfs that maybe someone could help find them. Also, I suppose it would be helpful to note in your post whether you'd be willing to sell any of your extras or if you just want to trade. Because sometimes you might have one someone else needs, but they might not have one you need.

So post away! I'll put mine up soon. Oh, and mods, I hope this is an ok spot for this. I've seen doll-related FS threads here, so I figured it would be ok.

Pony Corral / Question about Ty MLP Beanies
« on: January 29, 2014, 08:18:10 PM »
I have a few questions about these. First off, is the second group of them (AJ, Fluttershy & Rarity) out yet? If so, what stores carry them? I think the only store I've ever seen the first three was Barnes & Noble. I saw a bunch of the new ones on eBay, but a lot of them seem to be listings from either China or the UK. Though, I'm guessing if they have them in the UK, they'd have them in the US since Ty is a US company, right?

Second, which of them have bangs? Or are there versions with and without bangs? Because I saw pictures on eBay of all three of them with and without bangs. I really hope Fluttershy and Rarity don't have bangs, but I saw some listings where they appear to have them, so I'm confused.

The last thing I wanted to know about is the larger sized Beanie Babies. I saw a listing that had two sizes and I believe they called the larger size Buddies or something? I knew there were the regular beanie babies, but this was the first I've seen or heard about larger versions. Do all the stores that carry Beanie Babies carry the larger ones, or are the larger ones going to be trickier to track down? Also, what do the bigger ones cost in stores? I know eBay's prices tend to be quite inflated.

Trader & Shipping Support / Paypal won't let me remove old debit card
« on: January 23, 2014, 04:35:34 PM »
My mom's Paypal account (I share an account with her since I don't have a credit card or bank account) keeps bugging me about her debit card about to expire. Specifically, it says:

"Please update your card's expiry date as soon as possible to avoid any interruptions in using PayPal."

The thing is, that card isn't active anymore. It had been used at Target last December, and her bank decided to issue new cards to everyone who used their card at Target during that time just to be safe. So I added the new card and then tried to remove the old one. When I do, it gives me this message:

"You may not remove your funding source while an authorization is still pending."

The problem is, I don't have anything pending. I looked through my last three months and everything says completed. Is there any way I can fix this without having my mom call them. She hates calling customer service for anything (she tries to avoid all conflict, which includes arguing with customer service, unfortunately) and since she doesn't really use the Paypal account anyway. It was mostly set up for my use. I actually do most of the online shopping since she's not so computer literate.

Anyway, is there anything I can do without calling them? Or should I just leave the card there? I mean, it's not active anymore. The only thing I'd be worried about is it always was automatically used as a backup funding source if I didn't have enough on my Paypal balance to cover a purchase (it didn't let me choose, either) and I don't want to have the old card for that anymore.

Price Check Archives / PC: FS Applejack
« on: January 13, 2014, 01:24:30 AM »
I've decided to sell my FS AJ and I don't want to set her price way too high (or low) so what's her current price? She's loose with no accessories but has no flaws that I can see. I bought her from Walmart way back when she first came out and she's been sitting on my collection shelf since. But I'm running out of space for my toy collections, so I'm trying to cut back on them a bit.

Trader & Shipping Support / eBay package says "delivered" but it wasn't
« on: January 09, 2014, 04:28:43 AM »
I just checked the tracking on one of the items I ordered on eBay (show accurate colored :muffin: Funko Mini) and it says it was delivered yesterday. The problem is, it wasn't. I was sitting at my computer desk, which is next to the window that overlooks my mail box (it's literally 3 feet from the window) and I watched her put the mail in the box. There was no package. My brother also saw her because he was out shoveling snow at the time and is the one who brought in the mail. I really don't want to be out the $20 I spent on it and I can't really afford a replacement either, so is there something I can do, or am I just out of luck? It wasn't a case of the package being stolen because I saw the mail being delivered and there was no package. And the mail was delivered by our regular mail lady. She's been our regular delivery person for more than a decade and knows the route well enough where even if the address isn't perfect, we still get it. So there's no way it was mistakenly delivered to another address.

The strange thing is the tracking had the "arrival at post office" status, followed by "delivered" but it's missing the "out for delivery" one. I've never seen a package do this before. Is there any chance they scanned it wrong and I'll get it today? I remember checking the tracking around noon that day and since it didn't say "out for delivery" I figured it arrived at the post office too late in the day (it arrived just before 9am and normally anything that arrives after 8am, sometimes earlier) and would be delivered the next day. But now that I see the "delivered" status, I'm really worried.
