Do you buy all g1 Ponies that you find?

No. I like to leave that joy for others if its a pony I don't want. I've seen some one make a brag thread on a baby pony I didn't pick up (they stated the thrift store I saw her at). They were sooo happy. I know I did the right thing not getting her :p

Besides, I don't have the time to clean and/or resell.

Absolutely! Unless they are silly pricing...i.e. £10 for Cotton Candy So I guess I am in the "yes I would like to but I am not wasting money" camp!

Yes! I'll pass up G3s if there's a bunch in a bag and I already have them, but never G1s.

Last week I found a Bridal Beauty, white Tootsie and Posey for 30 SEK ($3.50) each. They were not nice or rare enough to restore, but not shabby enough to bait. I ended up taking Posey home with me, but I think it is the first time I left ponies behind.

I found most of mine on flee market, yes If they cost 1$ or 5-10 dkk I would buy them ^^ Also lives in denmark found many to no money.

Aadra and I found 5 G1's at a sale last night, and we wouldn't normally leave G1's behind but these were terribly overpriced for commons.  I ended up with a birthflower and a Cotton Candy upgrade.

I buy them if they are realistically priced...even raggy dirty ponies at 50 cents come home with me but raggy dirty ponies with price tags over $5... nah...

If I find a G1 at a flea market or yard sale and she's cheap (I mean $3 or less) and in good condition, I'll definitely grab her. But many people now know they are worth money and will jack up the prices. I miss being able to find them for a dollar.

I used to buy every G1 I found, but I've become a bit more picky lately about pricing; if it's a G1 for $1 or less, I buy it no matter condition.  If it's $2-5, it depends...but there have been a few times when I've bought *slightly* overpriced ponies in the hope that the seller will bring more to an antique store; a Medley for $3 with faded symbols, a BBE for $4, things like that.  It's worked at least once, haha!

I always buy G1s. No matter their condition. I enjoy cleaning them up and even the ones I can't, will always have a home with me. I have a Baby Tiddlywinks with a mowhawk and a chunk out of her hoof and a Baby Surfy who's nose was almost bitten off.

I think the only pony I left behind was a very discolored Baby Cuddles. She was in a bag of fakies for like $7 and I really couldn't afford it at the time.

Since I pretty much like all gens, I buy each pony that I come across on flea markets and second hand stores. Usually they're worth the price that's being asked. I might leave a pony that is too damaged (especially if the seller wants a ridiculous price for it) unless she's in a batch with some other ponies I want. Don't mind buying doubles either.

Only time I had to be picky was at the last convention I went to. Seller brought 2 boxes filled with G1's for 5$ a piece. Couldn't buy them all and some of them really weren't worth the money, so I only got about 10 of them. But since they were selling them to other collectors, I knew the ones I left would go to others who wanted them more than me
