Aaaaand pony number two is ready! Pictures will be added tomorrow.
I think I will rehair two more today, they are small ponies so it should be quick.

Meanwhile, yellowy pony has received more layers, so I may be able to do her cuties soon.

I have to say that I've never done a yellow pony before now, and I now know exactly what you mean by "more layers."  

I started this project only doing ponies that I wanted to make, but somehow picked up three commissions along the way... (and it's only the 8th!).  As it is, besides my first three that I've already posted, I haven't completed anyone yet, and am going to be visiting my parents over the next few days.  I *might* be getting an update on time tomorrow, or it might have to wait until the 12th.  Not sure yet.  Either way, I'm going to try to take finished heads with me to rehair while I'm out of town - if all goes as planned I'll have somewhere between 5 and 12 traveling with me for new manes.  Eek! 

*EDIT* YIPES!  It looks like I'll be traveling with a grand total of 14 (maybe 16, but I doubt I'll finish their painting) heads to rehair!  No, I don't expect to get them all done... at least I don't think I will... but STILL!  I don't understand how I have this many customs going right now!  GAH!

WOW, Sanada, that is a TON of ponies to finish.

lol- I know part of it is I am going to finish all the half done for me projects- I normally only do one a month for myself but they have been piling up~ and I have two large jobs from different people. I'm working on 5 ponies currently for a large swap with Skelletonimp (two of which aren't currently in this challenge ) and 5 sculpted blind bags for someone on ebay- she owns a LOT of my blind bag customs- I think this set puts her at having over 100 of them- shes practically got the whole cast of background ponies

Hmm.. My main group photo in my first post, I had been editing the picture with photobucket to cross out the ponies I finish as I finish them.. But it stopped updating the image.. The link doesnt change, but no matter how often I refresh it or clear my cache, it keeps showing the previous image. But if I go to photobucket, the image looks correct. It's so irritating.

Im working on pony #3 right now. The purple one with horns and thorn swirls on her. Im making some wings for her. They just need to dry, then I can get them set for her, and start painting her.

Number three is now ready. I think I will rehair next pony tomorrow after all and not today, my fingers are a bit sore after rehairing three ponies in a row

I'm in the middle of rehairing a Summer Wing pony. Took a bit long to decide what color to give her but I think she'll look nice with what I chose

How is the challenge going with you guys?

I think I am gonna finish one tomorrow. Its a re-hair so no worries there. Unfortunately Wigwam is gonna take a while. Apoxie takes forEVER to dry x.x  So anyone else having interesting adventures with their customs yet?

I wonder who will reach 10 first!? I had a big party on Saturday, so that threw a wrench in the works. I need to finish g4 Ice Crystal.

Fourth pony is almost done I rehaired a winger Glow that had no mane to speak of. I gave her a UV pink mane and tail that is white in normal light. I hope to be able to show her true colors so to speak in photos

I should be finishing up my third pony in the next day or so. I've been working 11 hour shifts and that has left me little time to do much. Whew. I just have to finish her symbol and rehair her as well as make her a circlet to wear.

Also I realized I forgot to give my first pony earrings. So I have to go back and pierce her ears.

I must be insane.

I plan to get the rehairs done today, so should have some ponies marked off shortly, I hope. Uninu, you're making me feel behind! *laughs*

Update for me- so last weekend I finished all 10 of the FBR's I needed to do. this week I'm painting cutie marks and eyes

My question is: how many are ponies for others and how many are ponies for ourselves? I think 5 are for me 2 are commissions and 3 are for private swaps.

Forgot to answer this one. Of the ponies I'm making, all are either for a swap or will be for sale. Yay?

Ugh, I am gona be slowed down a touch. I went to the doc today and was told I have a double ear infection and a sinus infection. Yay me x.x Wigwam is just about finished as are his accessories. I can't use my airbrush while I am sick so I have to paint by hand and sand out the brush marks. Oh joy...

Maybe I can find a yellow bait pony and avoid an FBR on that one...

I worked on a different project all day today. Then had to run out for more brass for it. Then had to return said brass to the store and get the right size after dicovering that I'd grabbed the wrong scrap piece for my size check. I think I blew like 4 hours in driving today. Should be able to solder these necklaces and do my rehairs tomorrow.
