10 Customs in 30 Days - Challenge has begun!

im dealing with motivation problems! i dont feel like painting....
i go through phases in crafting. i do ponies, knitting, fabric work, sculpting, bracelets, and other junks lol
right now im going through i knitting phase. i guess do to the season change in more interested in making hats and scarves.
and im working on a poinsettia bracelet (totally beaded by hand with seed beads!!!) these things take FOREVER! 8+ hours of continuous work! oh and thats just the flower part, that doesnt include the bracelet part. this one will take a very long time because im doing 2 flower pieces and a leaf piece.....8+8+8+bracelet!!!!!!! omg!
but i do plan on working on ponies 2maro...hopefully.

Kazzellin, don't feel bad, most of what I have done are rehairs and those are easy and quick

Well I managed to get most of Wigwam done last night. Broke down and used the air brush anyway as it was much much faster. Oh airbrush how did I customize without you? His headdress is finished and I just need to make his bandana and add the final coat of paint to his comb...oh he needs hair too.

Fair enough; I have some of those to do today myself. Assuming the hair I ordered for the styling ponies ever gets here. I ordered it on the 31st, but the order didn't ship until the 8th.

Today I plan to get some sculpting done along with the rehairs and hair styling. Taking a brief break from metal working, so~.

Ugh!  I was out of town for the past four days, and brought pony heads with me to rehair.  The first day I was gone, I dropped one of the heads - the only one I had with me with delicate sculpting - *two plugs from being done* and it broke.  The wire kept all of the pieces together, but I'm still not sure if I'm going to be able to save it without it being obvious  

This kind of murdered my deisre to work on them the rest of the trip...  I'll probably get more done tomorrow, as now that I'm home and looking at the bodies of those ponies and how close I am to getting another wave finished, I think I might be able to motivate myself again.  Let's hope so!

Wigwam was finished today and on a whim I started sculpting eeyore. Its going good!

Still no one completely finished to post, BUT I *did* manage to salvage the broken sculpt work on the head that I'd broken just prior to rehairing, and I have three other heads awaiting the finishing touches on their bodies.  Then all I need to do is seal, tail and glue them together!  I should have three more finished sometime tomorrow - yay!  I'm still dragging my feet about finishing sculpting some bodies, though...

Finished up another one today. That makes 4. >.< Something tells me I wont meet my goal, but Im going to keep on trying! I need to do a photo shoot so I can get two in the mail.

Ever have one of those days, where you're just about to finish the symbol on a pony that received an FBR in yellow... only to accidentally put a dot of RED PAINT on a leg that cannot be incorporated into the pony's design?  Cuz I just did... *headdesk* 

Keep working, everyone!  The 30th is coming!

I don't know that I will quite meet my goal either, but I almost have 3 more done, and I intend to do this next month too

Phew!  Got two 99% done (have some paint touch ups at their neck seams to take care of, since they traveled with me this past weekend) and I almost have the red spot on my yellow pony painted out (after all day's efforts at it, lol!).  Hopefully, I'll have a photo shoot with these three tomorrow to prove that they got finished! 

I'm still hoping to do a "30 customs in 30 days" challenge one of these days, but it certainly will have to be a month with NO holidays, NO other month-long challenges and NO family obligations to take care of.  Maybe if we're supposed to get some bad winter storms, I'll run to the store to stock up on baits-to-be and hole myself down for it then.  As it is, I'm totally glad that you guys talked me into a more reasonable number of 10 for now   It looks like I'm going to be cutting it close with that many, as it is!
