POTD 6/9/2017 My Pretty Pony

I saw a video of a comic con panel that both Lauren Faust and Bonnie Zacherle were on, and Lauren Faust asked Bonnie Zacherle to sign her My Pretty Pony.  It was really sweet.

I used to have the version that came out a few years after the brown one, the one that looks like Peachy.

a must have in my collection of all gens. it would complete it to have the original in there, and i love all things mlp and old and vintage

I paid a whole quartet for mine at a rummage sale. Her hair is a disaster and she's missing an ear though. Still cool though!

I have her. I think mine came from America in trade years and years ago. I don't have the pretty one that looks like Peachy, though. And though I'd like to, I really have no space. It's why I had to give up on the other SS newborns as well.

I didn't know she was sold in the UK as well until I found her in the 1982 catalogue for Argos. I have never seen one at a carboot sale here, though, so I don't think she was that successful...

omg, the custom MLP version!! I want to see more pics she looks lovely!!

She's nice but a bit too big for me, I prefer little things I do love her colours though. It's funny, I'm not really into 'real' horses and I far prefer fantasy coloured ponies, but also I really like the few natural-coloured MLPs there are.. I guess cause there's not too many of them? I dunno. /ramble

She is one weird pony but I would like to have her one day.. when I have cleared some space. I think I prefer the Peachy version of her though.

As a kid, I had no idea these existed and MLP wasn't quite a thing yet.  But I got her for Christmas and loved her so much.  I wanted to take her everywhere.  She was lost between moves.

Oh I want her so badly! She is the original my little pony! I would fight someone for her. Just so i can behold the moving action of a beautiful work of toy creation that lead to the birth of one of the most memorable toy franchises in human history. She hasn't turned up around here though, and until I win the lottery or come into a pile of money. I don't think I'm getting her anytime soon.
