Hybrid/Prototype G1 Sunspot!

Hello all,

a friend sent me this auction link:

The auction is over already but there's an unusual pony in there, Glow 'n Show Hybrid Sunspot!
Already contacted the seller for permission to use the picture for the MyLittleWiki, got the permission and added it there.

WOW!!!  That is so cool!  A prototype is the only answer.  None of the Glow 'n Show ponies were in that pose so it couldn't be a custom.

Very neat and very weird. It could be that Hasbro were thinking about the Glowing Magic concept and decided to do an experiment with a translucent pony they already had produced to see how the glowing elements worked in the plastic.
