Tiny Flea Market Brag
« on: September 10, 2016, 04:33:01 AM »
So, I haven't been lucky on flea markets for quite a while now, and it's been frustrating. But I had such a good feeling about this one, I just had to go!

And who would've thought, right at the first stand there was a Sundance with almost all of her accessoiries and some fakies squeezed into a bag.

The bag was only 3€, and the best thing? It contained her comb, which I've been wanting for almost a year now! It's pretty bent and not the best that's out there, but I'm still so happy. To think that a tiny piece of plastic can make me smile so much :D

These fakies were with her. Their heads move like they're nodding, and they have a crystal embedded in their shoulder. I probably won't keep them, but they're still cute :)

I also bought an upgrade for my childhood McDonald's Silver Swirl's castle. Mine's door was discolored. And I bought my first Keyper! :) Are her eyes supposed to be this sparkly?

My parents found me some G3s to clean up :) I used to end up buying G3s out of frustration when I found nothing else at flea markets. The one on the right has such nice hair colors thouhgh...

Aaand last but not least, this little fakie is going to a special person :)

I'm pretty happy with my findings :) And I have a clean-up project for the weekend now ^_^

Sweet finds!  I think the two fakies with the moving heads are vintage littlest pet shop.

So cool! I never find anything as nice as those when I go to the local flea market.

Do some research on those head nodding ponies. They look very much like some old school Littlest Pet Shop ponies I had as a kid. The old ones always had that paw print on the bridle and I remember some of mine did a head nod thing because they had some accessories that had magnets in them. They look in decent shape, you might find a collector who will want them.

Grats, seems like it was worth the trip! :D What a nice pastel bunch of goodies there <3
I've never seen that purple squirrel keeper before, it's way too cute :o I may need to look into keepers more, I only saw the Swan rather overpriced once, went back and she was gone the next day XD
Buying any and all Sonic the Hedgehog items of any kind I don't already have. Can also trade ponies of all generations.

Congrats!!!

The two horses are littlest pet shop ponies! They are foals actually! You should have no problem reselling those! They are popular!

The keepers eyes look like maybe someone glitter glued them!

Yes, the baby Keeper's eyes are supposed to be that sparkly - they came like that, not the result of a child going crazy with the glitter glue. XD  The two LPS foals have matching magnets in their noses, so they can 'nuzzle' each other.  They were sold as twins with a peachy two stall stable and some accessories.
G1 Wishlist  It's the final countdown! Looking to purchase the last few G1's for my collection - Watercolor Baby Sea Ponies Foamy, Misty & Surfy - Red Roses - SHS Sweet Sundrop - Springy - Teeny Tiny Snookums (#2)

Congrats on your finds! Your keyper and LPS foals are adorable!

I have had success with putting bent combs in boiling water to straighten the tines, might be worth a shot!

Thanks for your lovely comments, everybody! ^.^ I just spent the last ten minutes making the LPS foals nuzzle each other :D

I'll definitely try that out!

I need to be really careful by now... I'm almost convinced that G3s are very very cute and I should keep them. Must... resist...
