I found some flea market Ponies!

Yesterday my Dad and I went to a local flea market. At first we didn't have any luck: no toys of any kind anywhere. Then we ventured a bit further and...bam! This one stall was selling nothing but toys!

I looked around a bit, but couldn't find anything other than cheap knock-off Barbies with horrendous hair and some Little People (does anyone remember those things?). We were just about to move on when low and behold, we found the ponies! A whole box of G3 in fairly good condition (I only collect G3). I picked out eight of them (Amberlocks, Rarity, Sunset Sweety, Sky Wishes, Pinkie Pie, Bee Bop, Scootaloo, and Butterscotch).

They were usually $2.50 each, which would have brought our total to $20, but she gave us a discount and we got them all for $17. I kinda regret not asking how much she would like for the whole box, but, oh, well. I'm happy with what I got!

I washed all of them, mane and tail included. Some of them had minor scuffs and marks, but that really didn't bother me, since their hair was in such good shape. In fact, the G3 ponies I had when I was younger were in worse condition.

I put them all on a shelf in my room. They all look really nice. I'm pleased with what I got. Keep an eye out, I'll be posting pictures soon!   :biggrin:

That was a lucky find.  I'm glad they cleaned up so nicely and it was kind of the seller to give you discount :)

Very nice! Flea markets are the best; I didn't find anything at one I went to this weekend, but I'm going to another later this month, so hopefully I'll have a bit of luck then! Anyway, I hope your new ponies tidy up well for you!

Awww, I love G3s. I don't have any though as second-hand shops near me never have any and I can't buy online...

Lucky finds, I only find ponies at the flea, our second hand shops have so few toys.

Yeah, our second hand shops never have My Little Pony. And even our flea markets don't have many toys, so this was a really lucky find.
