My thrift store rescue... A tragic tail?
« on: August 26, 2016, 04:01:10 PM »
Not sure what the store was here, but I couldnt leave poor Bowtie hanging.
Tailless, dirty, and tortured. I am wondering if she should just be for the bait pile or if anyone has any rescue/restore suggestions.

It looks like she was caught on fire!  Poor Dear!  How is the rest of her?

I have an idea in mind, trick is those feet. Im baiting her, I have a near mint Bowtie for display, so no need there, and Im kinda nill on G1 baits.
I will keep everyone posted on progress.

The rest of her is sound. A little faded and sans tail, but good as a base.

Maybe some kind of sculpted shoes would help her?

No pony left behind!

Great idea. I'm sure she will feel much better with a nice pair of shoes (or roller skates!) on.  I'm glad she has a lovely new home.  Congrats :)

Looking better already with a few coats of primer. I figured out an idea and I will keep everyone posted on her progress. May be slow as hubby took my card away and put me on a chincy $100 a month allowance. He let me keep my paypal card though, so to get supplies, pony in, pony out. If you want to help support, take a look at my G3 sale post.

Poor pony wonder if they were accidentally left on top of a heater.
