Wings and things for ponies

mods please move if I am in the wrong spot here.

I want to make wings for my flutter ponies. I am out of a job and have some time and low funding. Any ideas or tips. Not looking to sell just like seeing these ponies with some type of wings.

I have also been seeing resin ponies...I think that's what it is. Ponies that have a g1 like body but it's clear and full of glitter. Are those easy to make? Who do you go to? They look so cool...I want to know more about them.

Does anyone make pony outfits? I would like to see them. I have time on my hands so I would like to keep busy.

Outfits are interesting to make. So intricate in details, and take a bit of time to complete.
Don't really think there's a huge market for hand-made pony clothes.

If you don't have a pop-drinking friend, the recycle center is a beautiful place. If you are worried about germs, bring some gloves. But you can look through the bottles they have and take what you will use. It's where I go when I need scraps of stuff that I don't have laying around!

i made the pop bottle wings ages back, they were very fun to make and looks really pretty in the end.

made from H2-GO drinking water (in NZ) with little bubbles in the plastic and i think pepsi or sprite, what either it was had dimples or swirls near the bottle of the bottle which gave of a great effect, im not a pop drinker but it was cheap cost compered to the repros
anyways i painted them with a iridescent glitter paint

Those look so neat....now I really need to go find some bottles:) I started to figure out a knit pattern for some pony outfits. I can make scarves quic with a button so it stays on the pony without wrapping it. I love all this stuff keep it coming.

OH I love rewinging my flutters!!
its so fun and SUPER easy..
this lil lady (whos name I CANNOT remember at the moment) turned out lovely! The gold matches her hair perfectly!

Pop bottle wings... I found a film that works great on them, but haven't found way to apply for a nice smooth finish. Works for me though...

I've done the pop bottle wings too! Great for when you have a compete set of Flutter ponies but only one set of original wings. And you get to customize them and get creative. Glitter, paint, stickers... I love when pony restoration/customization allows for some creativity.

It was a thrift shop find. Unfortunately the film was re-packaged. It definitely is an OK stand in!
