These have always tempted me... maybe one day I'll splurge and buy enough to equip my compete set of Flutter ponies! :3

OOoo so nice to see all the new flutter wings people made!  People complaint that the original wings were a huge design flaw but I see them as a great opportunity for us today!

An Arena member made some really nice ones from the soda bottles method with a slight improvement: they are removable! and came out so nice:

I've been meaning to make some of them myself but haven't gotten around to it.  I did however adapt soem shell jewelry to make a couple of sets though:

There are also some on eBay that look pretty close to the originals for $11 per set.

These turned out so amazing!!  Was this shape among the patterns or did you create this shape?  The colors match the rainbow mane and tail so perfectly and I love the way you scalloped the color boundaries to look like feathers and glitter has never looked so good!

Thank you so much. For wing shape I got the idea from http://www.linniekin.net/mlp/restore/flutter/ Little Pony Haven.

As for the glitter. I use a gloss varnish. I use a drop of farnish and pour the glitter and mix. I just put them at random for a rainbow and thought a flam like pattern would look better then just lines.

Nice wings! I made my flutter ponies wings like that with bottles and nail varnish and it worked perfect. Besides that allowed me to make wings that were more like the cartoon ones than the originals.
Now looking for the Summer wing pony wings...
I think plastic ones are amazing and that way we can customize them a lot.
