New Twinkle Eye

I discovered Sweet Pop a few weeks ago, as in, I didn't even know she existed until I spotted her on eBay.  I loved her colors and decided that I wanted to add her to my herd.  I don't usually buy single ponies, however, so I didn't get her right then, even though she wasn't very expensive.  I added her to my wishlist and moved on. 

Last week, eBay informed me that her price had dropped.  Admittedly, it was only a small amount, since her price wasn't very high to begin with, but it brought her to my attention again.  I had just sold another (inexpensive) pony and decided to use the PayPal balance from that to buy Sweet Pop.  She got here faster than I expected, so I had her in my hands this morning.

Since she was a bit dirty, I thought a quick scrub would be nice.  Then I spied a tiny bit of tail rust, which led to opening her up and discovering some rather dirty insides.  Once I manged to get all of that stuff cleaned out, I figured I might as well do something about the frizz in her hair.  Thus, my new pony ended up with a full spa.

Now I have four Twinkle Eyes.  I've never been into this set.  I had only one in my childhood collection (Mimic); the other three, I've acquired since I started collecting again last year.  Sweet Pop and Fizzy are my favorites.

Such a lovely, underrated TE pegasus. Always overshadowed by Masquerade, Locket and Whizzer. She was a childhood favorite of mine and I bought her for myself last Christmas. Don't you just love her pretty colors and summer time symbols? I think she's one of the few TEs that doesn't have two shades of the same color in her hair.

I loved her...still do....whizzer is my favorite....but sweet pop was her sister . All the twinkle eyed have awesome colors!!!  My favorite set!

Yes, gorgeous colors!!  They are why I noticed in the first place.    She does have two shades of pink in her hair, but one of them is fading pink, so maybe the ones you've seen have faded to white?

Congrats!  Sweet Pop is one of my most fave TE ponies!  Her colors are beautiful and her symbol is super cute!  I loved Popsicles as a kid, and still do.

Nope. My girl has white, pink, yellow and lavender. ^^

She's not only a summer pony, but a perfect childhood summer pony. What little kid hasn't raced to the ice cream truck clutching a dollar bill in their little fists to purchase a frosty treat?

I too have experience late onset Twinkle Eye appreciation. Sweet Pop is one of my favorites! Your new one  is a cutie.
