weekend plans?

I have a graduation party on Saturday, on Sunday a housekeeper (yay!) is coming to check out the house and give me a quote. I'll work in my garden, take the dog to the dog park, and keep cleaning out my spare closets - so will be making a lot of trips to the charity shop to drop off donations!

My plan for the weekend is to get a lot of work done on my thesis and do some house cleaning. So that means I'll probably just spend the whole weekend playing Disney Infinity (which I just bought as a prize to myself for finishing a Language Exam).

I'm currently in the car with my husband and our two friends heading to Atlantic City for an anime convention for the weekend. We're about 5 hours into a 6 1/2 hour drive...my legs hurt.

But it should be a fun weekend!

I want to try and take some scrap metal to get recycled so I can get a little spending money, but planning this as well as catching the new episode of FiM complicates things as the show starts at 11:30 and the recycling center closes at 1:00.

Besides that, I have to help my Dad clean out around his place, and then get back to my place and work on a training manual of sorts for work.

With any luck I won't just spend too much time playing video games.

I want to sell some toys to the resell shop, have two pairs of shoes fixed, have a dress altered, have jewelry repaired, and one or two more goals if possible..
Sunday I'm also getting my hair trimmed.

I've got a big Harry Potter group (Los Angeles' Dumbledores Army) here in LA and we are having a big beach trip Saturday which I'm excited about, theres like fifty people coming so yay It's a 21+ group so I'm sure we'll go out for drinks and stuff

Sat is the annul book sale at work! I work at a book warehouse and once a year we have a sale that's open to the public. Everything that is put out for the sale is $1. There might be one or two random items that are more. Last year it was the Hide-And-Hug Olaf set. That was $5, but it retails for like $25. Sat I'm going to be diving head first into pallets of books. Sun I'm probably not going to move much.

Saturday volunteering at cat shelter, Sunday going to an antiques fair then on to West Virginia for one night.

On Saturday hubby and I are driving 5 cats 4 1/2 hours back to their home in Fort McMurray, Alberta. For those that don't know, the entire city was evacuated last month due to wildfires (almost 90,000 people). The cats have been staying at my friends boarding facility in Edmonton and are ready to go home now so we volunteered to drive them home

On the way home from Fort Mac, we are planning on stopping along the way to see some more "Giants of the Prairies" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giants_of_the_Prairies. We hit up some a few weeks ago in the middle of the province, so we're taking the opportunity to hit some of the northern ones. Anyone who follows my custom MLP Scout's instagram or facebook, stay tuned for pics! LOL
