weekend plans?

We had yesterday off and went for a long walk, and ended up on the other side of town where I kind of bought an ice cream maker.. went home, ate dinner, crashed in the sofa..
Today (Saturday) Johns mom is coming to town to spend quality time with us. She said she would the two previous Saturdays and cancelled last minute but today we're gonna meet up in two hours and she still hasn't cancelled so I think it'll be this time. We're gonna shop some, eat some, maybe take the bus out to IKEA, we'll see. Tonight I'm gonna make home made ice cream! I am so excited!
Tomorrow I work a 9 hours shift, but afterwards I have five days off .

I haven't felt well since last weekend, so I might be stuck Indoors. If I feel better later I'll spend most of the weekend with Nevada working on new stuff.

This weekend..... My sis-in-law & family went home after a week visit and I rested.

well, my weekend went nothing as planned.
The grad party was Sunday, not Saturday, so I rescheduled the housekeeper to next weekend.
I randomly messaged an old friend, and it turned out she's in the hospital with heart failure (she's only 32!) so I ended up driving a few hours to visit. Glad I did but surprise.

I told my friends that this week has been my vacation, but I guess none of them wanted to see me.  My social life is dead.

Soo... It turns out that my oboe teacher invited me to come watch a performance of hers. She was going to have to go alone, so I guess she wanted some company.

At the end of that, I realized she probably is one of the best friends I have right now, and I hate having said that my social life is "dead". She may be the only one who invited me somewhere, but at least someone did. =)
