Kids "helping" their blankflank ponies

Something funny I saw at the fleamarket last weekend...

The previous owners of these CMCs decided to help them along in their journey it seems!
Scootaloo got a scooter with a very rounded seat, and Apple Bloom got a scribbly ball that I'm going to guess is an apple bloom.

Sadly, no sweetie bell! So I'll always have to wonder what her's might have looked like.

Do you own any ponies that have been "customized" by children? : )

Aww! I think that is sweet and I feel like there is a "customized" Sweetie Belle out there too!

Lady Moondancer, funny you should mention that.  I actually did put a temporary heart tattoo on my childhood Ember so she could have a symbol too!

There's an idea.  Release blank flank child ponies with their flanks made of the same material as a dry erase board and package them with a dry erase pen that has 12 (white, pink, red, orange, yellow, green, sky blue, blue, purple, brown, gray, black) colors so kids can give them cutie marks and then erase them to give another cutie mark if they want.

So stinkin' cute!

When I was little, I didn't like that Baby Glider (from the Fancy Pants set) had longer hair than Baby Moondancer, so I cut it to match the length. :P

I didn't do it, but when the 1989 club baby (all white baby) came out, members were encouraged to give her a name and sometimes, that also involved giving a symbol. Mine had a name, but I wouldn't draw on my ponies, except to write my name on the hoof, so I didn't draw anything on mine.

Over the years, though, I found several at carboot sales with scribbles on the butt. Nothing ever that clear, but one of them definitely had a heart. I guess she and Ember were the original CMC in this regard...
